The morning breakfast restaurant staff were cheery and their were prompt, fast and accurate. The Ladies who keep the rooms spotless were a delight and most helpful.
Many thanks to the Ardboyne Hotel staff, they are the people who make this hotel highly recommended.

I think Slane Castle was very interesting and what the Conynghams have done for the community over the years. They have worked hard to try to restore the castle since the fire. It is a very expensive project to try to keep it up. I would like to know more about its history, but there are not many tours for small groups of people and being out of the country, it is not possible to attend events that are not offered daily.

The property was in a great location, right next to the river for keen walkers & kayakers etc & Slane town was just up the road (approx 10min walk), so amenities were available if needed & Slane castle was about 5 minutes in a car or 20minutes walk.

Had a lovely stay at Rock farm Slane. We stayed in Hazel yurt and it overlooked Slane castle. Excellent location. Peaceful and clean. The beds were so comfortable. Lots of wildlife around the farm. Rabbits - Pheasants. The farm pigs if you go looking. Good facilities with plenty of space. Has all mod cons. Showers and toilet facilities are modern and clean. You have to try the outdoor hot tub and a dip in the natural pool. Lovely hosts who always answer the phone.

Amazing location! I absolutely loved the site, which is enchanting! In the countryside, beside the river, with a view on Slane Castle. The sunsets were amazing from our Shepherd's Hut. The hut is smal but surprisingly cosy, with a comfy bed. We slept wonderfully, with only bird songs in the background. Kitchen was well equipped and the showers are big and modern.

Lucy on reception was such a lovely girl so polite and very easy to talk to
The location was just perfect 20 minutes drive to emerald park 5 minutes from slane castle we loved the idea of the little cottages such colourful cheerful

Good location in downtown Slane that's a short drive to attractions (Slane castle, Battle of the Boyne, Newgrange). Free parking in the back. Rooms were well-prepared and clean. The breakfast was included and was what exceeded our expectations - choice of prepared meals (including full Irish breakfast) as well as great coffee and pastries (especially enjoyed the croissants). Also had dinner here and really enjoyed our meals.

Had booked the property to attend a wedding at slane castle. The property was clean comfortable and had everything we needed. The property owner went above and beyond to make us comfortable and even gave us a lift to the wedding. Absolutely perfect
