Location was excellent. As Kyoto station was so close we could visit there in the evening which I couldn't do in the past visits in Kyoto. The lobby was a little messy but the ground staff were very cooperative and helpful. We appreciated. Bus: We caught a tourist's 2 hr double decker bus which was located almost in front of the hotel. Unfortunately we were not terribly impressed because my friends couldn't hear in English translation.

the location is very good , alot of good food in the 10 and 11th floor of jr isetan which is really convenient and its a really good choice to stay in kyoto station , b1 of isetan has alot of cookies and matcha for souvenirs so technically u dont need to go out of isetan to buy anything everything is inside , there's also uniqlo and a cosmetic drug store just beside the hotel, the room is not that spacious , typical japanese hotel nice , the washroom is spacious considering the size of the room

Hotel IL Verdo was a lovely place to stay the rooms were quite large for a Japanese Hotel the staff were friendly the beds were really comfortable. Location was an easy 15 minute walk from Kyoto Station & it was very quiet so a bonus. The Shoisen en Gardens are right across the road from the Hotel a must to see. A quick walk you will find some gorgeous little Japanese shops & the Buddhist Temple which had handmade markets out the front. We really enjoyed out stay & dont forget the free 1 hour of drinks!!!!

Ryokan Ryokufuso was brilliant; it exceeded expectations. The perfect blend of beautiful traditional Japanese tatami rooms with modern hotel amenities. The staff were so warm and friendly (we appreciated the lesson in putting on the yukata!), and it was amazing to have a 24-hour reception and to be able to drop the key at the front desk when we went out. The onset was terrific, the hotel was top-notch in general, and it was an easy walk from Kyoto station. We'll be back!

Stay SAKURA Kyoto Station Shichijo was an average but acceptable stay. The room was clean and the size was reasonably comfortable, especially compared to many hotel rooms in Japan. The location was convenient enough, though not as convenient as we had hoped. Overall, it was fine for a short stay, but nothing particularly memorable. I would rate it 3/5.

The hotel is in an excellent location, within a few minutes walking distance of Kyoto station. The staff are exceptionally professional and helpful. The room was beautifully presented, with everything we needed. Breakfast was exceptional. We opted for the Japanese style breakfast from the buffet, but there was plenty of options to suit everyone’s taste. I would definitely stay again.
