I loved Theatel! Such a great common area for working, or hanging out. Comfortable beds, even in the dormitory. Friendly, helpful staff, plus, a great location. SO central. Would stay again, and highly recommend.

The location is incredible! You are walking distance from Ōdori and Susukino, you don't really need to use the subway, but even if you want to go further from the centre, the station is located very close. There is an onsen on the 2nd floor, which is not the biggest, but regularly cleaned and open even in the morning. They even have a lounge with complimentary soft drinks, coffee, and some little snacks. The staff was very helpful, professional and with a smile on their face. All of our questions were answered and requests promptly dealt with. You can take free amenities in the lobby. In the room you receive slippers and a few sets of towels, which you can bring to the onsen. You also get two magnets for the door - Do not disturb and Please clean my room - which you can use depending on your needs. There is KFC just in front of the hotel, drug store next to it, 7/11 is like a minute away and Mega Donki is literally 200m away and Round1 arcade is 500m away. Behind the hotel there is the famous Sapporo covered street with plenty of various stores. The location really is incredible.

- perfect location in the center of Sapporo, close to everything - onsen in the same building - as always, all the benefits from dormy inn: evening ramen, ice creams, yakult, … - service is excellent - breakfast was good (in August we notably had delicious melon, nice curry and seafood bowls) - booking system to reserve a seat to avoid queuing for breakfast was very efficient Overall excellent value for money.
