Hotels near Old Rissei Elementary School, Kyoto

Almost everything was perfect. Location was right by stations and close to the Main Street

Fantastic location, coffee machine in lobby, coin operated washer dryer with detergent included

Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Cleanliness and also a great location right in the center.

The breakfast was amazing, western and asian food; great staff and a great location.

I loved the space, how friendly the staff was, and the location. What I loved the most was the bathroom. I know that this sounds weird, but the bathroom was really great. It had a large bath and a separate shower. This hotel felt a lot better than my next hotel which was more expensive and had more stars. I highly recommend this hotel if you are searching for a hotel in Kyoto.

Got an upgrade to the premium floor, most spacious room I’ve had in all of japan.

Great location in the center of the market with lot of restaurants, shops. Close to Gyon. Delicious breakfast, drinks provided in a common area, profesional and friendly staff. Nice vibe and ambiance of the place and staff.

We particularly enjoyed the rooftop bar’s complimentary drink per guest, breathtaking views, and relaxing foot bath— highly recommend after checking in. The public bath was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and offered great scenery, with the 1.2m depth making for a very pleasant soak. The free drinks and ice lollies afterward were a fantastic touch. The room is on the smaller side without a view, but this was not a significant issue

Perfect location. Actually the hotel is very nice, you just need to get used to that there are no staff present

Everything was nice, friendly staff, it's a 5min walk from the Main Branch but the location is great!

It’s cheap for where it was located

I liked the lounge, very comfortable and the staff was always smiling no matter the time The location is very convenient

Nice facility, felt modern and fresh. Location perfect.

This hotel is beautiful, ideally located, and boasts a team of incredibly helpful and friendly staff. A special shoutout to the Guest Service Manager, Mark, who went the extra mile to assist me during my stay. His efforts made a significant difference and greatly enhanced my experience. Highly recommended!

What a fabulous location!!!!! Right on the river and Pontacho Road. Although in the thick of Kyotos main entertainment district the rooms were super quiet. The bathhouse was also magnificent! Like a 5 star hotel! This is the best value for money we had on our 3 week stay in Japan.

The location was great, we loved the Gion area. Close to trains. Easy to walk across the bridge to the other busy area of Kyoto. The room was great, very big, huge beds and very comfy. Great amenities provided, including lovely bath salts.

Our room was HUGE with a beautiful view of the autumn leaves and river in Kyoto - and super centrally located to a lot of great restaurants and sightseeing spots in Gion. I am still honestly dreaming about the jacuzzi tub - walking 20k+ steps in Japan and being able to soak in the tub was a dream. I was also super impressed by the amenities, I've never been to a hotel that also provides a hair straightener but it was amazing. I loved this hotel so much and was very sad to leave it.

It is one of the perfect locaitons to stay in Kyoto. Also it was really comfortable and clean. Staff was really helpful and friendly.

Great location to explore the Gion district, comfortable rooms and friendly staff too!

Amazing location, a lot of restaurants nearby. The room was nice and clean, though bathroom was really tiny. Also breakfast was great and staff was very helpful.

The rooms are really big and the location is great.

The position, the courtesy of the staff
