Hotels near Ueno Park, Tokyo

Unbeatable location. Have stayed here many times. A South Asian front desk manager has been very helpful throughout our check-in and check-out. Regrettably, I didn't catch his name but thanks a lot.

The room was large for Tokyo standards and the bed was also large and comfortable. The location was excellent, right across The Ueno station so really great to connect to the all the other major Tokyo quarts and aero ports. Also, Asakusa is only 20 min by walks. The hotel staff was really helpful.

The staff, location and amenities were all top notch. Even the free coffee/hot chocolate and coin laundry were much appreciated! We will stay at this hotel again and definitely in this area. So many options for food and shopping, and right near Ueno park. 10/10 experience!

Fantastic hotel, exactly as described. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and didn’t mind my lack of Japanese. Would highly recommend this as a place to stay when you first get to Japan. Ueno has amazing restaurants and eateries, the Family Mart (7/11) around the corner has everything you need, overall very happy I booked this hotel. Will definitely be back

Perfect location and easy to get around Tokyo, with helpful staff and a great room view. They were incredibly kind when our flight was cancelled, refunding us and waiving any cancellation fees. We were very grateful and would happily stay again and recommend to anyone.

Excellent location, only two minutes from the train and subway. Loved the soup and pastry station in the reception area. Friendly and helpful staff. Would stay here again if we come back to Tokyo!

Friendly staff, can leave luggage early in the day of reservation, clean, location is just 5 mins from ueno station, surrounded by night life, market, drug stores and kombinis

Location very convenient as a base to explore Tokyo and beyond as there are JR line, metro and shinkansen direct from Ueno Stn. Less than 5 mins walk from Iriya exit of Ueno station. Also very convenient to drag ur luggages around as there are slope/escalators up to the exit so u don’t have to drag ur luggages up & down stairs. Also very near to Ameyokocho where there are lots of restaurants and places to shop (Donki, Matsumoto Kiyoshi etc)

They keep your bags if you need travel without a few days and return to Tokyo later.

Clean, comfy, nice onsen, friendly staff, good location, be careful on the week end the prices are crazy, so its only good for weekdays

Surprisingly my best stay during my 23 days trip to Japan. The most kind staff. Breakfast included and amazing. Simple but incredible cost benefit. Great location, practical. Hope I can come back.

Near trains and markets so easy to find food and shopping. Staffs are friendly. Polite and helpful with the taxi . My taxi driver didn’t shut the back door properly and if the hotel staffs didn’t see and stop the driver in time, my luggage would have fallen out on the busy road. A big thank you for that 🙏. There is a Thai staff member speaking to you as well made me feel not so alone for my first solo trip.

Great location five minutes walk from Ueno station, and super value for money. Staff were great and everything needed was there.
