The proximity of angkor wat, and the full help and support from the tenant, who manage for me guide to explore angkorwat and good advices where to go to visit around and the best restaurants. Sad to have short time but Angkor wat is big if you want to visit all so I will need to come back for sure 2 weeks or 1 months to explore fully this amazing temple full of good energy 🤩💘

We had a wonderful stay at Pomelo Outpost. The host, Sarom, and his wife were very welcoming and hospitable. They invited us to join them to see a local dancing show, which was a highlight of our trip. The room itself was really clean and had good working airconditioning and a nice private bathroom. Sarom made us breakfast, and options for lunch and dinner were also available upon request. Besides the good room, there is a beautiful terrace with a lovely view over a lotus field. We highly recommend this place!

The homestay is a short while out of the city. About an hour and a half walk, a ten minute drive, or a 20/30 minute cycle. There are bikes you can borrow at the homestay. The hosts are friendly and welcoming, the rooms are spacious and clean. There are lots of local noises, music, and animal sounds, however you really feel as if you are in and amongst Cambodian life. They have amazing doggos and everything you need is on site or a very short trip to get it. The rooms have a little kitchenette and a full fridge/freezer with a gas hob. The gas cans are 1500 to swap out at nearby shops. Really enjoyed my time here will definitely be coming back :)
