Hotels near City Centre, Antananarivo

Hôtel de l’Avenue is situated in the city center. Very convenient as it’s close by shops, restaurants and easily accessible. With the ongoing water and electricity shortage in Tana, this hotel is the best as these two essentials of life were not lacking. Even during a general water restriction, they still provided water to every room. Well done!

Modern, clean, spacious rooms and friendly staff. Great location.

It’s a museum of fascinating artifacts and cool passageways! The room is beautifully decorated, clean and has a really nice bathroom. The have a great restaurant and cafe in a beautiful setting. The front desk was so incredibly helpful and kind. Love the blue cat soap and the amazing Xmas gift on my pillow. Wow!

The room is very comfortable and the pool is heated and very relaxing. Sauna and Hammam were amazing. The cocktails at the bar and the bakery were amazing. Great location.

Excellent hotel, probably the very best hotel in Antananarivo in terms of price vs. quality. All the hotel staff are extraordinarily friendly and helpful. The location is on the hill near the city centre, like practically all hotels in the city, and within 2 km range of almost all places of interest for tourists: Analakely Market, Rova of Antananarivo (Queen’s Palace), museums, best bars and restaurants, Mirapax cinema, etc. all easily reachable by taxi. Hotel can assist with airport transfer, taxi orders, hard currency exchange. The room is spacious, with large TV set offering the news channels in English and French; it has safety box, and curiously very cute modern design of the bathroom sink battery. Wi fi was not perfect, but generally it worked quite satisfactorily. Waku up call was executed unmistakably at my request. There is a rooftop restaurant, which offers decent breakfast and other meals (only wine is of poor quality), and offers spectacular 250 degrees, almost 360 degrees panorama views of Antananarivo.

The staff was amazing and very helpful

Kind staff, clean spaces, nice food

The cozy cabin with a beautiful view on the patio, beautiful details and central location, staff was very helpful with advice, highly recommend!

Clean, updated, good WiFi, amazing food and friendly staff. A small gym and pool a bonus too.

Loved the location, the pool, spa, staff, and cafe separate from the restaurant for quick bites.

We stayed in their largest room and it was extremely large, modern, and comfortable.

Very happy I booked this accommodation! It was clean, very quiet, and super central. The breakfast option is great, too. Would definitely come back!

Amazing staff, good breakfast, clean rooms!
