The accommodation itself is a tourist attraction with lots of photo opportunity. It's interesting to learn about the history of the mansion from the tour. We also enjoyed the guzheng music played by a solo artist in the courtyard on a Friday evening. Since it is located in the Unesco World Heritage Site, many historical significant attractions are within walking distance. The room is clean although it's slightly dim. We love having the breakfast in the courtyard and the food was good. This stay is highly recommended for a truly unique cultural experience.

The location was super convenient. It was 5 minutes walk from the ferry port, and around 15 minutes walk to the center of downtown. Super pretty neighborhood. The staff was really nice too. We even asked the kitchen to help cut 2 mangos that we bought, and they cut it up and boxed it. We were super grateful for that and ate it on our train back.

The room is big , very comfortable and well devorate. The hotel gave us cake everyday. Breakfast is very good. All the staffs are very helpful. The staff that we met when we check in explain where to go and good place to eat in detain on the map which help us a lot. The hotel is in a great location to the street art and restaurant.

    The National park is a lovely park and we wanted to walk to...

    The National park is a lovely park and we wanted to walk to Monkey beach . A sign said one and a half hours, we are in our sixties but that is well within our capabilities. The path starts off flat , with nice views of the sea and visits by the cheeky little monkeys . The path turned very twisty , we had to climb over boulders, tree trunks and at one time had to slide down on our bottoms down a slope holding on for grim life . We did a terrible time of two and a half hours. Completely exhausted and was so glad to see Monkey beach . This trip is definitely for the fitter and more mobile amongst us. The bar at the beach was a welcome sight & once refreshed , we viewed our options for our return journey. Option 1 wasn’t even considered ( Walking back ). Option two get the little boats back to the fishing village at the National Park entrance or Option three , hire a boat to take us back to our Hotel beach at Batu Ferringhi . For 150 Myr , we choose option three. We wanted to see the National Park but with thr knowledge that we now have , would not have attempted this walk . We can walk for several hours a day but not over this terrain .

    Nice rural setting located close to the Penang National Park, it's a relaxing getaway from the city. Owner is friendly and helpful. It has sufficient basic facilities and you can borrow bicycles to roam around. We were able to do some light cooking on rainy days.

    The facility (especially the lobby/bar, garden, and pool) is really nice. You can have dinner right next to the beach. The breakfast buffet is great, and so is the gym. It's a 30 minutes drive to George Town, but there are also things you can do on this side of the island. We had a beautiful (albeit adventurous) hike to the Monkey Beach in the Penang National Park (they should better maintain the paths with the substantial entrance fees) and a fun day at the ESCAPE theme park.
