CanadaExcellent hotel, large comfortable room, with a kettle and small fridge. The front desk staff are so helpful and friendly. Hotel Kras is a 15 minute walk from the train station and 10 minutes to Postonja caves. We had breakfast included and there was lots of selection.

SlovakiaThis hotel was among the best accommodations I stayed at during my holiday in Slovenia. The hallway outside the room was like one big, beautiful aquarium. The room itself was clean, and the bed was nice and soft. There was also a fridge in the room. The biggest and most pleasant surprise was the service. For some reason, the receptionist wasn't at work, but a very sweet and friendly waitress from the restaurant near by stepped in. She sorted out the check-in, showed me the room, and even held the doors open for me while I was carrying my motorcycle luggage. Incredibly kind and helpful! Another huge plus was the parking. I had my motorcycle parked literally right outside my window. If I travel through Slovenia again, I will definitely stay here.

If you like to explore geological wonders, Postojna Cave is just brilliant. Hop on the small electric train that slinks its way through this vast underground network of karst caves, where huge stalactites seem to drip from the ceiling. Amazing caves, however you have to join a tour.
Amazing caves, however you have to join a tour. They rush you through, giving no time for photos or time to enjoy. You are growled at if you fall behind the group. Each tour group follows closely behind another. Also the they said the tour was an hour and a half but it was actually an hour. The train ride was cool.

The caves were one of the most amazing natural wonders I've...
The caves were one of the most amazing natural wonders I've seen for a long time. The cave is huge and inside looks unreal. You start off with a train ride that takes you deep inside the cave then you walk for an hour before getting back on the train. Recommend the audio guide. Parking is an additional cost about 6 euro. Thoroughly recommend the experience.

A brilliant haven for solo travellers visiting Postojna. The hostel is a charming place, with a great social space. The host was helpful, attentive and kind. Definitely worth a stay if you’re thinking of seeing Postojna caves and Predjama castle, and well connected to Piran, Lake Bled and Ljubljana on trains/buses. Had a wonderful stay here.

Plenty of space in the hotel room. Balcony was also spacious with great view. Had everything we needed. Parking garage underneath the hotel. Staff very attentive.

Hotel is close to postojna caves, also there is a nice restaurant juat down the road and a bakery across the street. Hotel is quiet, older style. Must have been a beautiful Hotel back in the days, now some areas can look abit tired and worn down but on the whole its good. Parking was easy within Hotel grounds.

Wonderful spacious and well equipped apartment, with everything we needed for any food we prepared. Our hosts left milk, eggs, cheeses, ham and jams for breakfasts. Very good coffee pod machine.
Place was 20 minute walk to the Postojna Caves which saved us €6 in parking fees. And not far from the supermarket. Quiet at night after 9pm.

Spacious and lovely apartment. Clean and warm with a well equipped kitchen.
Outdoor parking in front which is very convenient. Easy communication with the host with clear instructions.
The location is great, close to Postojna cave, Rakov Škocjan (Veliki and Mali naravni most) and Park Škocjanske jame. Magical places, that you don't want to miss!

The hotel has a spacious, safe and cheap private parking which was good for us as we arrived by our own car. The location is quiet and safe, close to the highway, a good base for exploring that part of Slovenia. And of course, it is right next to the entrance to Postojna Cave. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The hotel is quite old, but has been renovated and is in very good condition.

Lovely clean and large apartment. We'd booked this because it had a private parking space and because it was very near to the Postojna caves and Predjama castle. This made it a very handy location to base ourselves in. But what we loved most was that it was clean and spacious and our host made us feel so welcome. The freshly picked raspberries and home-made Slovenian cakes were so kind, so delicious and much appreciated! A really great place to stay!
