I love Moody Gardens.
I love Moody Gardens. Have been there several times in the past using all of their facilities but this trip around was very disappointed especially what they charge for each and everything you want to do. I remember paying to get in and everything else was included except for Imax. Prices at the restaurant are overpriced, as well. Food was only average.

Overpriced for what was there, aquarium was good. There was not much to the rain forest. it had a lot of birds but that was about it. We were not impressed with it. I would recommend the aquarium and the 3D and 4D movies. Don't waste your money on the reat.

I was there during the winter with my husband and an almost 2 years old son. The hotel is huge, comfortable and beautiful. Unfortunately the indoor pool was not heated and we couldn't enjoy the pool. There is no free attraction. You have to pay for all the hotel attractions.

The aquarium was really neat, the rainforest jungle pyramid is not worth the add'l cost at all. There are several touch tanks in the aquarium and the tunnel you walk through and so many different areas to just sit and view the fish swimming by. The rainforest was just that... rainforest with humidity and a few birds.

This can be a one day.
This can be a one day. The zip line was one time and not many people there to do it. Found that rather bad. The experience was wonderful would I go again no one time was enough. The boat ride was boring the paddles did not paddle and not worth extra for a hour long ride. Would rather go to the Elissa and do that boat trip again. Saw dolphins and learned a lot of history as well

Although the ice machine were a small issue, the location across the street from the gulf and its proximity to Moody Gardens, Pleasure Pier, and many fast food/restaurants on the island was awesome

The rooms were bigger than I expected. The bed was really comfy. It was super quiet where we were and very close to Moody Gardens for Ironman Texas 70.3. Not too far from the beach either! We didn't try the breakfast, but it was available.
