The VIP feeling: all staff members were super friendly and helpful starting from the reception, the restaurant, the room service and penthouse bar they all took care of every detail with intent. Loved the spotless room and bathroom, the free toiletries and the little details like pillows with two levels of softness and amazingly comfy mattress and linens. Soundproofing was great! And one would appreciate that while staying in Miami Beach. Last but not least is the bar on the 4th floor just a few steps from where our room was located. The superior bar service and romantic atmosphere in the midst of Miami Beach hustle and bustle made our vacation so memorable! Thank you Pelican hotel!

No question that this is an iconic place and deserve a slow...

No question that this is an iconic place and deserve a slow saunter and look at all the buildings. But it is a noisy place with many restaurants and bars. Great to look at but I most definitely won't stay on any of the hotel on this road.

We got up at 7.00 am and walked along the boardwalk looking at all the people excercising in the cool of the morning. Probably my favourite time of the day on Ocean drive. The iconic Miami Beach. People playing volleyball etc. we had breakfast at The Betsy Hotel 144 Ocean Drive. Expensive but worth it. We ate on the terrace watching the world go by. The Versace House on Ocean Drive is now a restaurant, people were taking photos of themselves outside which all seemed a bit disrespectful and ghoulish.

Beautiful boutique hotel. The staff were super attentive and professional but friendly. The pool is small but lovely. The location is perfect, close to Ocean Drive and Espanola Way. The rooms were spotless and the beds very really comfortable.

Brilliant hotel, the roof top area is fantastic...just have to be quick if you want a day bed as theres only 5 around the pool...staff really friendly. Location great...on the corner of the busy Spanish area with lots of restaurants and only 5minute walk to Ocean Drive. Definitely stay here again if and when we come back to Miami.

The King suite with Ocean Drive view, stunning, superb, a good size room the old wooden shutter (bathroom) door the panoramic old style windows gave a very authentic Miami vibe The authentic metal shutter elevator, the small boutique nature and bar with outside restaurant right there on Ocean Drive at this most iconic hotel is worth the extra $$$

Excellent hotel in every inch. Rooms are spacious, very clean and high standard finish. Location is basically almost on the beach, around the building Ocean Drive. Yet the hotel is very quiet, even during World Cup Brazil or Mexico games. Most of all lovely and helpful hotel staff! It would be 5 star if it was a resort. You get fridge, toiletries, towels, iron, plasma TV...

Ideal location just a short walk away from Ocean drive/ the beach but away from the hectic main road. The windows look out to the rear which is a quiet residential street so it’s not too noisy like the front would have been. Has a convenient communal laundry room with washers and dryers only $2 each. Apartment was very spacious and clean. The fridge freezer was huge. Had beach towels, umbrella and chairs. Michelle and John were amazing hosts and very helpful and accommodating with anything we needed.

Incredible location right in the heart of action on Ocean Drive. The hotel is beautifully decorated and modern with hints towards the art deco heritage of the property. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful - the bar underneath the hotel and courtyard are lovely spots to grab a drink or something to eat and take in the ambience. Really recommend staying here. It’s also the nicest smelling hotel I’ve ever visited!

Stroll Collins Ave and Lincoln Road.

Stroll Collins Ave and Lincoln Road. Of course include Ocean Drive where is good to get a drink at sunset. Espagnola Way should be visited for a nice dinner.Botanic Garden is also easy to reach for good walkers.

Avoid restaurants on ocean drive that do not display prices on their menus!!! Especially when they lure you in for their 'buy 1 get 1 free' then you find out the '1' cost $40 - without tax and without the 18% service charge that as added on top at EVERY restaurant/bar along ocean drive
