Everything was great! Great accomodation, clean, close to the beach and main attractions in South Beach, yet not noisy at all. I liked that they offer bath toiletries (shampoo, soap etc) which seemed reasonably good! Check in instructions were super clear and easy to follow. Also the parking lot they can arrange for you for some cost was great and easy to park. Hector was super nice and helped us with all we needed! He also answered quickly whenever we would send questions by written! I would come back to the same hotel if ever in Miami again!

We recently stayed for two weeks at The Local House and I couldn't be more happy with our stay. I can't say enough positive things about the hotel and the restaurant. It is situated on the prominent Ocean Drive just accross the beach and close to really everything (top restaurants, 10' walk to South Pointe, 5' drive to Lincon St). The hotel is decorated in a boho-coastal style making it charming and cosy, the environment and decor gives a great vibe. The staff were incredibly friendly and supernice. The food at the restaurant was just iconic and delicious, and on top it's healthy and fresh. The signature cocktails were to die for, very well balanced. Big fan here of 'I’m Feeling Pine Today' drink. I highly recommend the hotel and the restaurant! We had a great experience overall!

No question that this is an iconic place and deserve a slow...

No question that this is an iconic place and deserve a slow saunter and look at all the buildings. But it is a noisy place with many restaurants and bars. Great to look at but I most definitely won't stay on any of the hotel on this road.

We got up at 7.00 am and walked along the boardwalk looking at all the people excercising in the cool of the morning. Probably my favourite time of the day on Ocean drive. The iconic Miami Beach. People playing volleyball etc. we had breakfast at The Betsy Hotel 144 Ocean Drive. Expensive but worth it. We ate on the terrace watching the world go by. The Versace House on Ocean Drive is now a restaurant, people were taking photos of themselves outside which all seemed a bit disrespectful and ghoulish.

Too crowded and out of control.

Too crowded and out of control. People playing football next to our dinner table and had the ball nearly hit us a few times. Pot smoke every where so plan on getting high just walking down the street. This is not the South Beach ten years ago. Go to Ft Lauderdale if you want less craziness.

Location was great , close to good restaurants, bars and Ocean Drive. We had a ground floor suite accessed through a very pretty courtyard. It was spacious and exceptionally clean . The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Sadly we never got the chance to make use of the complementary beach passes for the Marseille Hotel as the weather was poor.

Amazing hotel, boutique style, nicely renovated, strategically located nearby Ocean Drive and next to Walgreens (24/7). Hotel has got fantastic staff - Mercedes made our checkin&out exceptional, helped us book a restaurant and provided all the necessary information. Storage and rooftop service very kind and helpful, too.

The hotel was nice, decor lovely and quirky, with fresh clean linen on the beds (smelt lovely), bathroom was clean with plenty of body wash, shampoo and conditioner, the room was cleaned every day, with fresh towels supplied and right on ocean drive for all the restaurants and easy access to the beach.

Stroll Collins Ave and Lincoln Road.

Stroll Collins Ave and Lincoln Road. Of course include Ocean Drive where is good to get a drink at sunset. Espagnola Way should be visited for a nice dinner.Botanic Garden is also easy to reach for good walkers.

Avoid restaurants on ocean drive that do not display prices on their menus!!! Especially when they lure you in for their 'buy 1 get 1 free' then you find out the '1' cost $40 - without tax and without the 18% service charge that as added on top at EVERY restaurant/bar along ocean drive
