The property has an updated boot, ski and jacket drying/ storage area as you enter the property. Sled for bags. 15 minute parking access to drop bags a short walk to apartment with access to 7am-11pm across the road. Best Bus stop is Frosty's as Big D can get busy. Excellent host on site. Very quiet area with other lodges / apartments. Best Pub / Local store at Hotham - The General, a short walk with awesome views, outdoor fire ect. Price is ok relative to ski village in Australia.
We loved the location as it's in the bush but in town too! With kangaroos and deer grazing nearby , shops and restaurants all within easy walking distance The Lodges were the perfect choice for our stay in Halls Gap.
It was an olde worlde ski lodge style accomodation - so it was a great flashback experience - it had every facility you could want and was spotlessly clean and excellent value.
The sheer space of the lodges and location in town
Great location, inexpensive, like a ski lodge with shared cooking facilities and dining space. Would be a good base for a cycling trip in the area.
Very helpful hosts, they are only a phone call or text away! Beautiful apartment with a lovely view. Beds were comfy for a ski lodge, they did made a noise every time you rolled over. Really nice kitchen with a dishwasher. Really enjoyed our stay. Wasn't enough snow to comment on the ski in ski out.
