I want to thank Pamela for the hospitality, my friends and I felt like at home. Pamela is kind, interesting in communication person, she recommended us a really delicious place to have dinner in the city (I recommend you ask too!). After visiting the oceanfront park, we returned for another night. The room is spacious, the beds are comfortable, the shower is excellent, there is plenty of space on the veranda to enjoy the view of the bay and the city. Basic but excellent breakfast, fast internet. And if you love cats and dogs, you will definitely like this place. It's not a problem at all that the house is far from the city center — public transport runs often and is cheap. I recommend this place with all my heart! That's what we needed to rest between hiking and moving between cities.

This is an exceptional stay, the location is wonderful with the sea advancing underneath the property at high tide. The bird life is easy to spot from inside the cabin and the balcony is a good size to sit out in. You can stargaze from there at night. Inside the log burner keeps everything cozy and the kitchen is well equipped. There are shops within a 10 minute walk. Castro is easily accessible by local bus. If you don’t speak Spanish, the drivers are very helpful. Castro itself is a good visit with lots of shops and cafes and good views. The staff overcome language problems with ease simply with the desire for you to enjoy your stay. There are cats, chickens and a very engaging young dog. I don’t give 10/10s. This is a 10/10.

Offering free WiFi access, a complimentary breakfast and spectacular views of Lake Cucao, Palafito Cucao is located lakeside in Cucao. Chiloé National Park lies only 300 metres away. The room was overlooking the Cucao Lake, had a very nice decor that created a very romantic atmosphere. The personal was super helpful and helped planning the activities for each day. The hotel counts with very beautiful outdoor and indoor common areas. The kitchen can be used to prepare your own food. The place was absolutely clean and nicely kept.

The accommodation was big and comfortable, and all the facilities were very clean. Breakfast was superb, with several options to choose, and it was also possible to have dinner there, which was helpful on the days we were tired and did not want to go out at night. On top of that, the staff was super friendly, and they gave us several tips about sightseeing on the island.
