Very clean, spacious and well decorated. The outdoor area was a great size, we didn’t use this as much with it being winter but would be great in the summer. Amazing value for money.

We stayed 3 nights and wish we could have stayed a week. The room was comfortable and well equipped. The meals were fabulous, and the location was perfect. Staff took care of our every need. Walking was easy and the calmness and quiet at the Lodge was perfect. I couldn't imaging a better place on Arran to stay. I cannot wait to make a trip back.

Really comfortable and cosy lodge, in an ideal location to explore the surrounding areas. Great facilities within, the wood-burning stove is a real treat and was a lovely place to relax after being out and about. Couldn't fault Hawthorn as a place to stay and would happily do so again.

The lodge is equipped with 1 bedroom, a fully equipped kitchenette with an oven and a stovetop, and 1 bathroom with a shower and free toiletries. Towels and bed linen are provided in the lodge. We went with our two dogs as a birthday trip for myself. Host was courteous, room was clean and cooking equipment provided. It was just the relief I needed after illness at start of the year. Ferry to mull was only 3/4 minutes away. Bed was comfy, wifi provided and host had installed blackout curtains which was greatly apeciated.
