The lodge is very well equipped. Our room even had a refrigerator, and the shared space offered a microwave, oven, and electric kettle. While dining options in Hakuba Village can be limited in winter, having these free facilities made it easy to buy frozen food and heat it ourselves. Honestly, after skiing all day in strong winds and heavy snow, being able to eat something warm at the lodge was far better than any fancy meal. The ski drying room was also very convenient, and the staff kindly opened it early for us so we could catch the 7:00 AM early-morning skiing session. The lodge also sells discounted lift tickets (¥7,000 per day, limited quantity on a first-come, first-served basis), and they provide IC cards with on-site top-up, which saved us the trouble of buying tickets at the Goryu ski resort. In addition, they offer discounts at nearby rental shops — we used Winpy, which was conveniently located along the way. Overall, it was an excellent experience.

He spoke good English. He provided all the information we needed for skiing and getting around. Amazing local breakfast every morning. Great location near bus stop to skiing resorts. Excellent room and facilities. Definitely will stay here again when we back next time.

Pension Tomato er í 10 mínútna akstursfjarlægð frá Hakuba Happo-One Winter Ski Resort og býður upp á rúmgóð herbergi í vestrænum stíl með rissvæði. Wow wow WOW. We didn't want to leave. This place was amazing. The two onsens are super plush. The owners are amazing people and we would highly recommend eating breakfast and/or dinner with them.

A 10-minute walk from Happo One Ski Resort, guests at Log Cottage Epoch can rent out an entire cottage. Each spacious cottage comes with free Wi-Fi and includes a kitchen and a living room. Very well located cabin close to the main Happo One gondola and situated in a peaceful area amongst trees. Toshi the host was exceptional and was very accommodating. He picked us up from the train station and continued to offer lifts throughout our stay. I would definitely return here, thanks for a great stay!

The location was awesome, quiet and tucked away but 30 seconds to Main Street echoland. The downstairs common area was soothing and relaxing, warm and inviting. I can’t say enough about Matsua and his hospitality and willingness to help. I HIGHLY suggest Pension Marrionette for several reasons. I’m solo but had two beds and upstairs loft that was either for morning relaxing yoga or to house another two individuals. I hope I return and can enjoy the Marionette again soon.

Twin Peaks Lodge in Hakuba offers family rooms with garden or mountain views. Some rooms include a wardrobe, a tatami floor, and carpeted floors. Shared bathrooms feature hairdryers. Location is excellent along with staff being very friendly and welcoming. Rooms and clean and spacious .

SamaLodge Hakuba er staðsett í Hakuba í Nagano-héraðinu. Hakuba Goryu-skíðadvalarstaðurinn er skammt frá. Boðið er upp á gistirými með ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði. The location is perfect, just a short walk up to Goryu.The staff are amazing ,so easy to talk to and very helpful with everything.Pickup and dropoffs from train or bus station,Heru even booked our bus tickets to Nagano for us then drove us to 7/11 to pay. The osen downstairs is a joy after a long day skiing. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and could not be happier !
