Located in Nikko, less than 1 km from Nikko Toshogu Shrine and 2.4 km from Tobu Nikko Station, Silver Daisy Stay Nikko provides accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning, a garden and a terrace. The unit was very clean, comfortable, including all the amenities that you would need for a home-stay or just to have relaxing rest after a long day exploring Nikko. We went in November and it gets really cold at night, the unit was quick to warm up and the sauna is definitely a plus. 10/10 Recommend for short or long stays.

Everything was amazing! The location is very near to the Motohakone village in a very quiet area. The amenities in the house were amazing I’d highly recommend it to anyone travelling there Make sure you do enough groceries & supplies before you get there as everything closes at 4 or 5pm Maybe it makes sense to buy their offered bbq bundle too as it’ll be magical to bbq with friends out there

Mominoki Lodgeモミの木ロッジ features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Minakami, 36 km from Gala Yuzawa Snow Resort. Loved the magic cupboard for clean dishes! Plenty of room for everything and the property had everything we needed. Jack is a great host - lots of really helpful info and super responsive.

Tenjin Lodge er umkringt gróskumiklum fjöllum í Minakami og er í aðeins 5 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Tenjindaira Snow Resort Ropeway og JR Doai-stöðinni. Had a very comfortable stay in this truly stunning area. Especially thanks to the amazingly friendly and helpful owner of the establishment, who gave great advice and went the extra mile to make my stay very memorable. And very delicious! Very homely vibes as well. Even though it is a very remote place, it is still very good accessible by public transport (10-15 minutes walk from Doai station, which is an attraction on its own). Just make sure to check the timetable of the trains (they run only 5 or 6 times a day or so). But the ambiance, service and the environment made this one of my most memorable stays of my vacation. Honne!

Our accommodation was a semi-detached house in a group of two, with a living room, bathroom, and kitchen on the ground floor, and two bedrooms on the first floor, all with nice wooden floors. There is plenty of space inside, plus a lovely terrace and a small garden outside. The house is located on a hill with a view of the valley. The driveway to the upper houses is steep and includes a 180-degree turn. We stayed there for two nights and really enjoyed it. Check-in was contactless and easy. The kitchen is very well equipped. There is also a washing machine and dryer, which are perfect for longer stays. All in all, it’s a very nice accommodation surrounded by nature that invites you to stay longer.

Set among Nikko’s peaceful forests and mountains, Nikko Park Lodge Mountain Side offers homely accommodation with free Wi-Fi just steps from hiking trails. Really nice guesthouse near the nature. Has a lovely fire place in the commom area. As they are a few minutes walking from the center they offer breakfast and dinner extra as well as a few things to sell (small covenient store) as well as a free transfer in the morning to the train station!!

Situated in Hakone, 7.5 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station and 46 km from Shuzen-ji Temple, 箱根宿燕帰 features accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning, a garden and a terrace. I was offered free coffee, though I didn't try any. Location was convenient although it was on a hill that might be difficult for some to walk up. Free parking!

草津白根 マウンテンビューロッジ features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Kusatsu, 48 km from Jigokudani Monkey Park. Mt. Kusatsu Shirane is 15 km from the lodge. location good. breakfast was good . onsen facilities legit
