Ronaldo and Natalie are so kind and hospitable, we can't recommend them enough :) All of the meals were delicious, and 2-3 courses. Ronaldo welcomed us with a welcome drink too, which hit the spot after a long day of hiking. Facilities were very clean, and they have a nice pool and lounge area and good wifi. Highly recommend for a stay in the oasis when hiking the Colca Canyon!

The bedrooms were extremely cosy, and the hosts were impeccable both in every request we made and in making us feel at home. A bicycle rental service is available at the lodge. The location is incredible and the lovely staff were able to help us find a viewpoint over the valley and the hot springs. Sandra also made us a delicious dinner whilst catering to our specific dietary needs.

The pools are set along the riverside and are strictly for the exclusive use of registered guests. The lodge is well-regarded for offering an authentic and natural experience in a truly unique setting. The team welcomed us very warmly. We told them that our hiking shoes broke completely beyond repair during the hike to Llahuar and the owner was very committed in helping us - he made it possible that our larger backpack that we stored in Cabanaconde was brought to the lodge so we can retrieve other shoes for the resting hiking days. Beautiful place, good food, welcoming vibe!

Cabanaconde can be reached in 3 hours, by foot, horse or mule only. Owners extremely attentive to care and very nice, the food is amazing, and rooms are clean (not sure why we read the opposite on some reviews - I think two hotels are called the same), great stay!
