The treehouses are located close to the habitat of wild horses and the mountain is just 20-30 minutes away so you can hike up very easily ( mild fitness required). We booked the double room with balcony and had a magnificent river view. The room was bigger than I thought it was going to be, based on the size in the description. Everything very clean. The drive to the property with narrow, winding roads. Good thing they serve a delicious, inexpensive, dinner, because I didn’t want to drive that road too many times. We had good access to Geres National Park hikes, but we felt very secluded. Breakfast was included in the price and had everything you want, including eggs and bacon. Staff was friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend.

I stayed here on March 17th, 2025. This was the best hotel in Portugal. It had amazing views, a great staff and great amenities. I will stay here frequently.

A beautiful house, carefully and elegantly designed, a wonderful lush garden with hot tubs and great views, excellent fresh and delicious food (breakfast and dinner) and, above all, the most gracious and generous hosts, Keren and Zif. We feel really lucky that we found Lua. We had a wonderful time there and would love to come back.

The perfect base camp for exploring nature and for hikes in the National Park, exactly what we were looking for. In the middle of the forest, quiet and remote, so perfect. So thankful for Amadeu's kindness and generosity has a host, he made our stay even better.

The location is exceptional really beautiful. With great walking and a gorgeous swimming spot. The cottage also has a shared garden to relax in where you can here the river and look at the mountains. The host Bernardino is great, really welcoming he leaves basic supplies in accommodation and offers a free welcome drink. He gave us great recommendations for walking and on the day we left we had a flat car battery and he helped organise a mechanic to get us started . He even checked we arrived home safely. Thank you
