Very very nice rooms with own fireplace (nice after cool afternoon safari). Phantanstic food, good choice!! The pet-friendly lodge offers a barbecue. We loved this location - quaint, comfortable, and welcoming. The setting and the cabin were fabulous. Julian, our host was great. The cabin had everything we needed. It was clean and roomy, and the beds were comfortable. The wood-heated hot tub was fun. Guest could rent bikes, buy firewood, and 'shop' in the farm stall for fresh eggs, honey, wonderful homemade freezer meals, and much more There are several trails right out the front door that enable you to hike or mountain bike to a reserve with zebras and giraffes. Facility is on a private reserve and the lodges all communicate so one never felt crowded when seeing the animals. Never more than 3 vehicles at any one site.
