The close-up experience with the animals was unforgettable, and the level of hospitality from Basil and Riette was incredible. The lodge facilities are superb, and the food was absolutely delicious. Our room was extremely comfortable, and the terrace was the perfect spot to unwind after a safari—especially with visits from various animals. Truly a magical experience. We’d especially like to highlight the warm hospitality of Basil and Riette, who made us feel so welcome and at home in Kruger. Thank you for everything! Everything was on point, the bed so comfortable, spacious bathroom, very demure, they even wash my car since it was raining at night

Breakfast was wonderful, and dinner was an amazing experience, beautifully prepared and presented. Wildlife often wandered close by, offering magical encounters. The hosts were warm, attentive, and made the entire stay truly special. This lodge is a perfect blend of wilderness, luxury, and charm—we can’t wait to return!

They take care of every little detail and as a solo traveler, it made my Kruger NP trip very stress-free! The food is amazing, the beds are next level comfortable, and the staff are so kind and hospitable they feel like family by the end of the trip. And seeing wildlife on and near the grounds is an added bonus! Total 10/10 experience in a beautiful setting in an amazing part of the world! I hope to be back some day ♥️ 🦒 🦓

They really felt like family when we left! And everything was beautiful, and we loved the wild animals on property, it was special. The food was exceptional! Friendly staff.
