Lodgings in Chimay

Helpful gentleman at checkin. We couldn’t speak French, and he couldn’t speak English, yet we communicated beautifully with “charade”hand motions and smiles.

Beautiful building, with a lot of charm. Very nicely decorated rooms. Very practical check-in method when the reception is not occupied (code for entrance sent by sms). Delicious breakfast, provided in a beautiful room overseeing the villa's park.

Prime location in the center of Chimay, the old town in walking distance. Bikes could be safely stored nearby.

The apartment is on a very tiny, quaint street. Excellent location within easy walking distance to the old town, tons to see/do/eat/drink. Opening the front door to the building, and starting up the stairs, I’ll be honest, we were a bit apprehensive. Which all disappeared the moment we entered the apartment, it was beautiful, spacious, and spotless.

Absolutely everything. Nanou is amazing. Amazing welcome with a beer, sitting outside in the beautiful surroundings. Not much of a dog person but I enjoyed her dogs. Rooms were comfortable, restroom was clean and well-appointed. A 5-minute walk to town. I recommend taking the slightly longer walk around old world neighborhoods to get to the Grand Place. Breakfast at Nanou’s is the best in town. Lots of fresh, local products. Will definitely stay again.

Great location, very cosy house, easy contact with owner.

Staff was great! Parking was convenient and safe. Awesome location and a great restaurant right out the door with walking distance to many options.

Very nice breakfast, good coffee.

Nice quiet location, very private.

Big, clean and cosy apartment in Chimay

The pool was great, and a lovely back yard, great location to local attractions and not too far of a drive to Brussels. Chimay city was very good, local restaurants and beer were great. The host was very friendly, but it was hard to communicate since she only spoke French.

The property was able to accommodate a large group. It was rustic and a peaceful getaway. The host was amazing and very accommodating. They provided a thorough tour of the property and even made our large group dinner reservations at a local restaurant. They were also able to accommodate breakfast on short notice and take a group picture with prints for everyone before departure.

Very spacious, clean room with everything you need. Located on a quiet street but close to everything. A/C worked well, bed was comfortable, and the hosts were very responsive, friendly, & helpful.

This is our second stay here and it’s just perfect for what we needed. Fans lots of windows good ventilation. The bath toys for our son was a nice touch.

We did not take the breakfast due to time constraints. The property is located just off the Old Town Square. An efficiency apartment with kitchenette, our room was very clean and comfortable.

We liked the comfortable layout of the space and ample roominess. It was very clean and didn't lack amenities - everything we needed was there.
