Lodgings in Antofagasta

The room was HUGE and the view spectacular. We watched the birds in and on the water every day with much delight. The breakfast is truly excellent with eggs cooked to order, just ask. The bartender makes limonada with freshly squeezed limes and fresh mint and ginger. Amazing.

The Holiday Inn Express Antofagasta was a great choice. The room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. There was parking in a parking garage under the hotel, so the car was secured. There were plenty of restaurants within walking distance, and the beach was nearby.

Fantastic views combined with a sympathetic and helpful staff. I arrived straight from a stressful hospital visit concerning an eye injury (luckily less serious than anticipated) after little sleep the night before. They got me into my room efficiently. All the staff were cheerful and eager to help. And the food was great.

The concept of breakfast is poor.

Close to the ocean without the city traffic sounds. On my last night there was a party right between the hotel and the ocean. Kept awake for hours and I had to get up at 6;00 am for my bus to San Pedro. But I survived.

The best part of the stay was the staff. Everyone was very friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. Excellent service from check-in to check-out.

The hotel absolutely met my expectations. The rooms are incredibly comfortable, ensuring a pleasant stay every time.

Great location in the heart of downtown...next to a great mall. Good parking. A skyscraper with great views on the top floor where we had our daily breakfast. Good base as we visited different landmarks. Immersion in local culture...interaction with friendly and kind local folks.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, closets, quiet. Water was mostly hot. Helpful staff at the front desk. Secure parking for the motorcycles. Breakfast buffet had long hours. Lots of security measures. Great view on the water side!
