The location is amazing, just 5-minute walk to downtown Ruoms with all its stores and restaurants, and right next to all the major attractions in Ardeche. You can also access the Ardeche river right off the hotel. The breakfast was wonderful, with home-made bread and jams and amazing croissants. We had our breakfast in the garden every day, in the shade of nice trees, it was paradise. The owner came every morning to give us info about what to do and visit, and she marked a map for us to show all the things we wanted to do. She did that for any guests who requested it. The staff was great, they are multilingual and very willing to help. Our room was lovely, well-decorated with huge windows and a functioning AC. The hotel is very tastefully decorated, it feels like a beautiful home away from home, and we felt so welcome. In the hall, they have a filtered-water fountain, which was great to fill out our bottles. Every day, they left some nougats (the local sweets) on our bed, which was a lovely gesture. I would not stay anywhere else in Ardeche.
