Lodgings in Ano Mera

We enjoyed our stay here very much. Beautiful and spacious apartment, equipped with the most necessary things for a longer stay. We have found the best quiet beaches in a few kilometers distance. Supermarkets and restaurants are also available nearby. Highly recommended for groups or families who want to explore the island and want to stay away from the crowds.

First of all the property was very clean. The apartment was cleaned every day and towels were changed. Ioanna is a friendly and helpful host. The house is conveniently located in Ano Mera on the road to Agrari beach. In a short distance there are two major supermarkets and two other smaller supermarkets, also restaurants, pharmacy, café and bakery. It was very good to have a washing machine. The bedroom was isolated and calm and quiet. Plenty of parking space. Good internet connection. It was a very pleasant stay. Would love to return and stay more days.

The place is stunning — beautifully designed, stylish and cozy, incredibly clean. You can really tell that every detail has been thoughtfully curated. The villa felt like a private little oasis, perfect for relaxing after exploring the island. We especially appreciated how spotless everything was — truly one of the cleanest. A special thanks to the staff member who welcomed us — he was incredibly kind, helpful, and always available whenever we needed anything. His warm hospitality made us feel truly cared for and added a personal touch to our stay.

I dislike the word hidden gem as it feels over-used, but Makani Suites is definitely one I'd call just that; a beautiful getaway from the busy Mykonos town and its surrounding beach clubs. Situated on the east side of the island, it is about a 20-30 min drive to the main town, but this adds to the exclusiveness of these apartments. It's high-up in the mountains, and therefor you get a breathtaking view (and stunning sunset) while overlooking a big part of the island, it's hills and some of the nearby beaches and bays. The shared area of Makani is carefully designed and resembles a cozy outside spa. It's calm, quiet and has a spacious communal area with sufficient pool beds for all guests. The room was great, the bed was huge and the shower – both pressure and heat – like you'd want it at home. The staff of Makani Suites was very good in their communication, always quick in their response and very attentive with tips. We also very much appreciated that we got to enjoy the pool area a bit longer even though we checked out already.

Couldn't have had a better honeymoon hotel experience anywhere else but at Koukoumi! The reception staff and the restaurant staffs welcomed us with nice drinks and snacks, which felt so good to have after an early-morning flight. Our room was so spacious, nice, clean, thoughtfully prepared and equipped. The pool facility felt like a little resort oasis. The food and drinks created and curated by the restaurant are divine! Vegan fine dining at its peak, I must say! We love the fact that there's a fully vegan buffet available daily, with new selections of food each day. We tried food from both lunch menu and the dinner menu, all were delicious! All members of Koukoumi: from the owner, the reception staffs, the restaurant staffs, the housekeeping staffs; were all friendly and helpful. We felt like everyone was above and beyond with their hospitality and we're grateful for that! The hotel environnement feels like a home away from home, a peaceful social club where everyone can chill and relax without any worry. Overall, we loved everything and definitely would come back whenever we come back to visit Mykonos.

The staff was exceptional! Helped with anything and everything you could think of. It was beautiful and centrally located in the island. A little square just up the road with everything you may need. If you’re looking for a more quiet Mykonos experience this is the place.

It is a typically Greek house of the Cycladic. The views are amazing and I love that it was the only property I could find with a pool, 2 bathrooms and 3 rooms. The bed where my husband and I slept was amazing! Honestly a great choice

This villa defines elegance and comfort! All amenities are 1st class. The room was clean, comfortable and the pool and spa exceptional!

We had only a one night stay at Penelope village and we really enjoyed it. Everything was perfect. The location, the accommodation and the friendly staff. We had initially booked a comfort triple room but we were given a bigger one due to availability. The girl from the Philippines at the reception desk was exceptional. Tristia( sorry, if I don't pronounce your name correctly ) thank you a lot for everything you did to make our stay a memorable experience.

Amazing location with great views, close to the Ano Mera center but also in a quiet spot. Large and empty parking lot, good terrace seating, kitchen was small but well equipped with Nespresso coffee maker. Owner was very friendly and nice. We liked the overall style and design of the accommodation.
