If you want to experience authentic Karpathian hospitality, Philoxenia is the place to stay! Tanja and Niko were amazing hosts. They gave us wonderful tips on how to explore the island and experience it like locals. Their recommendations made our stay even more special.

Perfect location on Amoopi Beach. We loved the beach so much we didn’t really explore other ones. Water is crystal clear and we’ve never seen so many fish. It was a snorkeler’s and swimmer’s delight!Close to good seafood taverns. Shout out to Dimitri’s Seafood Taverna and Stou Manoli’s tavern. We even got a free upgrade and free late check out. Staff was definitely all about pleasing their customers.

Nice pool area with good vibes. Nice new firm mattresses. The staff accomplished every request we had. The location is very central to Ammopi beach, one of the best at the island. You have many choices for dinner in the area with under 5 min walk.

The room was spacious and it seemed that every view from each balcony was breathtaking. The breakfast was delicious with a huge variety of choices for everyone! Beach, pool, and amenities were fabulous! Couldn't ask for anything more. The staff was very helpful and attentive, especially Eugenia and Minas the Bartender, in which they continuously went out of their way to insure a wonderful experience! Would highly recommend this hotel and their entire staff.

Mr Mihalis is really friendly and even gave us some prickly pears, frozen and clean from all spikes. Equally frienfly is Mr Mihalis wife who regularly cleaned the room and put some clean towels. The bed is traditional Karpathiko style so that was a nice original note. The location is very quiet, with view to Amoopi bay from the cute veranda.

The owners are wonderful, friendly, kind. It’s very picturesque hotel. Perfect!

This is a lovely place to stay in Pigadia. It is centrally located, with walkable restaurants, bars and shops nearby. Ellinikon is highly recommended for a meal you won't soon forget! It is also very easy to park in the area with street parking and free public lots nearby. Rooms are newly renovated, spacious and include private balconies to enjoy the view and ambiance of the area. The breakfast each morning is expansive and rich with choices. Beyond that the staff and family that runs this hotel are extremely warm, friendly and accommodating. Although I traveled here alone they made sure I felt at home and consistently checking in with me to make sure I was seeing the best things of their Island and enjoying every minute of my stay. I would recommend anyone to stay here whether alone, as a couple or with family. I would also say that this is the perfect place to stay and then explore the rest of the island by car so that you are close to the airport with easy access to all the treasures of the Island, both in the mountains and the variety of lovely beaches.

Great rooms. Location and rates.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I hope this helps someone who’s trying to decide — just like I was. I booked a short stay last minute and stayed in the Karpathian Cottage and it completely exceeded my expectations. The cottage had two comfortable rooms, two bathrooms with good water pressure, and everything was clean, cozy, and well-maintained. It was quiet, relaxing, and exactly what I needed. The highlight, though, was the staff — Stella, George, John, and one more whose name I sadly don’t remember — they were all truly exceptional: welcoming, helpful, and professional. I highly recommend staying here and would absolutely come back again.

The location is excellent, particularly for those without a car. For guests with a car, access to the hotel can be challenging due to the very narrow streets. However, there is a convenient free public parking area about 300 meters away. The hotel has been renovated, and the rooms look completely different from the photos previously published.

Arcus Luxury Suites exceeded our expectations. The suites were modern, spotless, and very comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The location was perfect—close to restaurants, shops, and the harbor while still being peaceful. We truly felt at home and appreciated the attention to detail throughout our stay.

The place is new, modern, very spacious, very clean, and close to anything one may want: beach, supermarket, car rental, restaurants, bakeries, various other shops. But in the same time it's also quiet, relaxing, not crammed with other buildings, with an airy/garden feel. The outside space (terrace, pool) is wonderful, with sea and mountain views. Maybe sometimes it gets windier, but we experienced just a refreshing breeze for most of our stay. All the best to the host, which was extremely kind!
