Lodgings in Tetebatu

The room itself was comfortable and clean with beautiful views of the rice fields and Rinjani. The restaurant has great, cold beer and wonderful staff. The owner of the property simply known as Pink is friendly and very welcoming.

We wish we had more time. This was a great stay. The villas are locally owned and operated, and the staff is exceptional. The villas are new, very clean, and comfortable. Our kids had a great time swimming in the pool and playing Jenga, which made it feel relaxed and family-friendly. We also took a tour to see local handicrafts. I am usually skeptical of these kinds of tours, but this one was genuinely a treat. Each craft and skill that was shared helped us truly appreciate the effort behind the work of each artisan collective. The kids loved weaving baskets, shaping pottery, and seeing how weaving is done. The artists were incredibly generous with their time, and it would be a shame to visit the area without meeting the people behind the goods they sell. We especially loved the hand-woven fabric. It was too beautiful to pass up.

We loved everything about this place. The views of the Rice terraces are extraordinary, The food is wonderful. The guides for day trips are excellent. I appreciated the good air conditioning Even though the nights are cool enough for most people to just use the fan. Daniel who works at reception is endlessly cheerful and funny. Fuge is wonderful and helpful. All the staff was. Make sure you do a tour that includes the monkey forest, rice terraces, and waterfalls. Don't let anybody tell you you don't need a guide because you'll never find your way through the private farms and hidden swimming holes. (Ask for Basury as a guide. He was awesome!) We love this place so much we canceled our other plans and stayed longer.

The bungalows are cozy and surrounded by lush gardens. Sitting in the dining area and the deck looking at the jungle and the rice paddies from above was of the most relaxing experiences in my travels. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and warm. Azis, Chuck, Yusuf and Suhaili made me feel at home. We went on a guided tour around the area, they taught me about local plants and how rice is grown. I will come back.

The hosts were absolutely amazing. The food was delicious and the vibes were spot on. Awesome place. I would live here if I could.

Everything was super clean and beautiful! The view speaks for itself and the location was calm and relaxing. We loved having breakfast on our terrace overlooking the ricefields. The staff was also super friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you!

Great place with a really good vibe. Super chill, friendly atmosphere, and a nice way to experience village life in Tetebatu. The staff were amazing and always happy to help. Special thanks to Ali for his hospitality and guidance. Felt very welcome from the moment I arrived. Definitely one of my favorite places I've stayed in Indonesia. Will come back for sure.

Lovely local family owned residence with all local experiences like a hike through tetebatu seeing the monkey forest, plantation, rice fields, a waterfall and a bamboo forest. Followed by a local cooking class with a five course meal. I would recommend this experience any day!

Amazing room with a beautiful view of the rice fields. The food was among the best I've had in Indonesia after nearly 2 months traveling here! The staff were wonderful, extremely kind and helpful, and the tour we did with them was amazing!

Beautiful grounds and lovely pool!

For less than 200k, it's among if not the best price-value you can get in Tetebatu. Hot showers, wifi, good bed, spacious rooms in an expansive green, quiet environment with superb views. Excellent, fast communication and staff. Good food delivered to the door. Luxury experience at a budget price.

Pay a little extra and take the upper floor room, they are renovated with A/C and most importantly, those rooms have an amazing, breathtaking view of Rinjani volcano. People of Tetebatu, including staff of Pondok, are the most welcoming people I have met on my travels so far. Everybody will greet you, smile at you, ask you about your home country or how you like their village. One of the staff told me it is normal to act in such kindness there and was asking me it is the same in your country Is everybody greeting everybody and smiling at each other? Saddly, I answered No, realizing how we distanced socially and how tragic it is .

The staff was really lovely. They show you around and offer good tours. The food was also very delicious. We had a great time! Especially recommend the tour around Tetebatu!!

I take time to write a special review for this lovely place. We had a wonderful stay at Family Guest House in Tetebatu. The view is absolutely beautiful, and everything was very clean and well maintained. Our room was spotless and comfortable, and the whole place has a warm, welcoming family atmosphere. The village tour was very interesting and gave us a great insight into local life. They also have a restaurant at the guest house, and the food was fresh, delicious, and prepared with local ingredients from the village. Kitchen was maybe one of the cleanest in the village. Definitely one of the highlights of our stay! They also offer a laundry service, which was very convenient. We also rented scooter. Scooter: 100-150k per day (very new) Laundry: 20k per kg Food: 30-100k depending on the choice Sinta, Riya, Yan and the rest of the team were incredibly friendly and made us feel at home from the beginning. In the evening, there was even singing together, which created such a relaxed and memorable atmosphere. Beautiful views, great local food, very clean rooms, friendly people, and a true family feeling. We would definitely recommend staying here when visiting Tetebatu!

The homestay is the best in all of Lombok. Best price and by far the best host ever!! Alek was very informative of the local culture, took us to local events, and arranged tours and transportation up until our departure. I can’t say enough about Alek and his kindness and hospitality! 10/10 would stay here again no question about it!!

Very good place to stay in Tetebatu. Spacious and comfortable room, staffs were so nice. Good location, easy to walk around to see rice fields, close to some good restaurants, especially you can see Rinjani mountain from this resort. Highly recommend to stay.

Small family run bungalow resort, clean, swimming pool and restaurant, also easy to walk to the ‘center’ of Tetebau.

It was by far the best accommodation I had during my indonesia trip. Very nice and clean room with nice garden view. Very lovely and welcoming family that makes you feel at home. They have a restaurant where you get best food homemade from Aton, and I had the chance to have a dinner together with the whole family. It is pretty close to nice places and the tour in the village is amazing (shoutout to Emi). Abyi and the family are also doing great job to help the people in the village and I visited multiple local schools there and played with children in the village. He also drove me to the airport after my stay there. Best experience with the best people. 100% recommend if you want to live a real sasak local family experience. I would absolutely come again!❤️

Most beautiful location. Very relaxing, super clean and welcoming. The staff goes above and beyond to make you comfortable and happy. Again the staff service was incredible, would rate it 100/10. Came back for our anniversary and already planning to come back next year.

Nearly everything, one of my favorite hostels in the last months. The location is superb, the price, the breakfast, I loved the crepes, tea all day, the view from the terrace. The service was also good, great place, highly recommend it!!!

My whole time travelling, this is the best Homestay I’ve stayed at. The people who run it were amazing. You came as a guest and left as family. The land was beautiful, the food was incredible, the guided tour was amazing, the rooms were clean and spacious. Shout out to Andy, Ryan, Rio and Mu. You guys are the best!

I had a amazing stay here for 3 nights. Everything is brand new, clean and the view is probably one of the best in Tetebatu. Don't forget the two lovely owners and the amazing food. Just the internet was a little bit slow, but that's everywhere in Tetabatu. Would definitely return.

The owner and all the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and the meals were delicious. The activities with local guides are very interesting.

The location, it has a great view of rice fields, surrounded by flowers, beautiful garden. The rooms have air condition and hot water and amazing bathroom. We ate at the homestay, the food was delicious. The owner arranged scooters and gave us a lot of info on what to see and do. They also arranged laundry and car for next location. Most importantly, the family was super friendly and engaged with our kids who said they want to come again next year.🙂
