Lodgings in Doolin

Everything was as we expected - breakfast was great, the rooms bigger than some that we stayed in, and service was fine. West Haven house is very close to the centre of Doolin, and Killagh Church is a very interesting site nearby. The pier is a bit of a walk. The staff were especially helpful (even by Irish standards, which seem to be high); they did a round of laundry for us, which saved us a few hours of downtime in the middle of our two week holiday!

Stayed at the room, didn’t visit the restaurant. The best stay of my journey. The room and the bathroom were crispy clean, the staff was very friendly, the window view was sweet (you can see the cliffs on the horizon).

Staff were very friendly, the room was very clean and very quiet in the evenings. Breakfast was just right to get us started on our day. Location was perfect- very near many beautiful places to explore.

Better than a lot of similar bookings we've had around Ireland on our travels. Hosts Melyssa & Ciàran are doing a wonderful job. Share kitchen was neat, clean and very convenient.

Superfriendly hosts, exceptional good breakfast served in a private room next to our room on the 1st floor. Very nice location with view on the ocean. Perfect place to stay !!

It was a dream! Beautifully appointed with all the amenities …coffee, kettle, soaps, etc.

The staff were so warm and welcoming, the breakfast included was beyond any of my expectations. They gave us a gift when we were leaving, a small loaf of Irish soda bread, it was a very sweet touch.

What a great place to stay. We were two couples. We had plenty of space. Everything was clean. Great base for Aran Islands. Walking distance to the pub. Access was easy.

It's very close to the Cliffs of Moher and the Doolin Caves. The local pubs have fantastic food.

Comfortable well equipped apartment in a great location. Lovely view of the ocean. We were able to walk from the apartment to start the Cliffs of Moher walk at the Doolin end and only 15 or 20 mins by car to reach other entrance points.

Beautiful apartment for a girl's trip. The whole space and the views are lovely. It is right smack dab in the middle of all the sights nearby. Easy access to everything! Highly recommend

The space was accessible, within 7-15 minutes walking distance from any pub, music and food.

Jacquie greeted us outside of the regular check-in times and was super welcoming and gave great recommendations of things to do in the area. We are fans of sustainability and really like that The Pipers Rest e.g. tries to minimize food waste and hands out oder forms for breakfast the night before. We were really happy to also see vegetarian options on the menu! The food was very tasty, as well. (Just a suggestion for the future: eliminate the paper forms and maybe implement a QR code-based ordering system to make it even more sustainable). The room was great and had very comfy beds. Plus, the location is perfect - our main goal was to see The Cliffs of Moher. We wish we stayed a little bit longer to soak in everything Doolin has to offer!!! :)

Outstanding view, very comfortable, spacious room. Our host was very welcoming and ensured that we had a good time. Breakfast was expertly done, efficient, and tasty. We would go back.
