Lodgings in Sgonico

Great food, great service, comfortable and tastefully decorated room in a beautiful rural setting. Loved the locally produced wine and salami.

This was a very comfortable stay on our Alpe Adria hike. The owner was super helpful and responsive. The apartment was large and clean and had a very large private outdoor area. Sales is a beautiful town.

This is truly the homestay like place my partner and I were looking for. The drive in through the vineyard and small village is scenic. Arriving to the property, you will find yourself directly in the vineyard with a beautiful rustic property and welcomed by the warmest family. The food cooked on site by the owner is by far the best authentic food we had in Italy. The rooms were comfortable and had all the necessary accommodations. If you want a true, authentic experience, you need to come here!

Quiet place, great view from the window, very nice owners. Close to Trieste and Castello Miramare.

The staff especially Stefano at reception were excellent!

The view, the ambience, the beauty and nature nearby, the breakfast and the wonderful wonderful staff esp Michele and Douglas at breakfast in the morning. They were soooooooo lovely and wonderful and made my stay ao perfect!!

The location is fabulous. Older hotel that is truly historic Italy. Views from the rooms are breath taking. Two restaurants by the water. We liked the one not on the corner but next to it. Breakfast was great and the staff was excellent. The bus right out front will take you to Trieste in minutes. The bad reviews you read are people looking for the Hilton. This is not the Hilton it is historic and we loved it. Short walk to the castle other tourist have to book an expensive tour to see.

Very spacious, modern and clean appartment

Beautiful view, clean and comfortable. The worker at the hotel desk was very kind and helpful.

great stay with comfortable rooms and delicious food!

Nice place. Friendly staff. I was blown away by the breakfast. Positively surprised. You need to try their homemade spirits 😁

Beds were comfortable, rooms were very clean and well set up. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were great.

The hostess was very nice, friendly, helpfull and social. Everything was special.

Beautiful deck and yard; well-appointed kitchen; good location for activities in and around Trieste

Very nicely renovated apartment in a nice outer neighborhood of Trieste. Excellent recommendations from the host

Nancy was fabulous at breakfast - she remembered our drink orders and offered delicious food. The view of the Med Sea from the room was amazing.

Nice view, good location, great breakfast.

The place was amazing as other reviews have shown. Also there are personal touches that make it nice. The view and huge balcony after great. The road coming from above is ok, from the bottom is steep, but also this is Italy :-). The garage is great. owner was also very responsive and helped a bit with some medical assistance questions.
