Very good hotel in a very good location. Near to the center and the bus terminal.

The hotel was a stopover on a trip north. It was located perfectly to continue the drive the next day. A great value for the money.

I love the little terrace to sit and chill outside, the view was amazing and the staffs are nice, friendly and available 24/7. They also a wide collection of drinks to order

the location and the friendliness of the staff were perfect. there was a construction nearby which made us difficult to reach the hotel but still everything were match to value.

Very modern and very clean beautiful hotel

The breakfast was exceptional, exceeded my expectations! The food was really good and the hotel presents a lot of variety. The hotel is super clean and I like the decoration.

Nicely appointed unit - very comfy and bright. We didn't use the kitchen (other than the glasses for water and wine) but seemed to have all you might need to cook your own meals (stovetop but no real oven - only microwave) - plates, pots, pans, silverware, etc. Hotel reception person was very friendly and informative as to where to park, places to walk to for lunch, etc - even gave us a map of the immediate downtown area with some restaurant suggestions circled. Unit was very quiet at night. We enjoyed the rooftop bar and the 'buy one get one free' coupon we got at check-in. Many downtown restaurants are just a few minutes walk away over the river. The castle is about a 10-15 minute walk - and a good deal of uphill - easily done for those of normal health and ability. PRO TIP: I'd done my 'research' via Google Map satellite view and saw a 'fat spot' in the road directly in front of the hotel - presumably there to allow you to temporarily park while registering. Upon arrival that area was fenced off. The town was crawling with traffic and was stuffed full of already-parked cars. I happened to 'luck out' and find an on-street parking spot about 1/4 mile down the road from the hotel. But when you register you will learn that there is an underground parking garage on the same road as the hotel - just slightly NE of the hotel. This is where you will 'officially' park as a hotel guest (and free for hotel guests - they will validate the ticket you get upon entering so that you can exit for free) - the hotel elevator even goes directly down to this parking level. So when you arrive, just go directly to that underground lot and park there before you visit reception.

The breakfast was good. We enjoyed the indoor heated pool and relaxing bed/chairs. The shower was great and separate toilet area convenient. The staff were all very friendly . Quiet neighborhood and close to the highways and easy to travel to Leiria.

The room was very nice and the house was very comfortable, it was just very hot in the room and it was impossible to sleep well in the rest everything ok

Great value for the location and price. Right in the heart of old town next to the square where there are tons of restaurants, cafes, and shops. Very convenient and walkable to eveything in Leiria Centro and accessible to transportation. The room was cute and the shower was amazing!

It's a home away from home. Plenty of comfortable spaces to relax, freedom to use the kitchen and make yourself a coffee. Loved that there was space to read a book while watching the kids in the pool. We had a family room that was cozy and good size for the 6 of us. Easy access to Leiria and great restaurants. Lovely breakfast, great hosts! We'll definitely come back here.

The hotel is not modern but has that nostalgic charm. The breakfast was excellent with the sunrise and a wonderful view. If you are UK or the English breakfast type...there were those beans and eggs hot. Plenty of pastries and breads.

The hotel was very beautiful, and the room was clean. The bathroom was clean, and the shower was very clean as well. The receptionist was wonderful, very polite, and welcomed guests with a big smile.

Fantastic! The staff were lovely and helpful, the bed was comfy, there was safe bicycle storage and breakfast was delicious and filling!

Nice rooms with view of River and old mill wheel. We had a wonderful dinner at their restaurant. Nice breakfast, too

Very clean, owner lovely! When we were unhappy that there was no restaurant open on site she made us a bowl of soup!!! Well worth the drive to stay here!

This place may be lacking in old world charm if that's what you're after, but has everything you need for an easy comfortable stay. And on that night, it was all we needed. Easy on site parking. Easy to find. Great little kitchen. Comfy beds.

Very friendly staff, good facilities and well prepared to give guests all the information with: best places to eat by zones, places to visit, etc. Everything digital, very fast and working flawlessly.

We received the warmest welcome from the owner, who kindly waited for us after hours due to our late arrival and went out of their way to accommodate our needs.

Serene location right next to the river. Very well equipped and modern. Loved the grocery store was a 3 min walk. The park and walking trails were great for our young son. I would highly recommend Casa do Rio!

This flat was the most adorable place we've stayed at. Sonia had all the little touches and conveniences ready for us, including bottled water, kitchen staples and a Christmas Tree. The locatoin in Old Town was right next to the Christmas vendors.
