Location was close to everything. Apartment was clean and very well stocked with all the essentials. We appreciated the robes. Close to the botanical garden and the sea. Good communication with the host. Easy check in.

I booked this hotel for my wife's birthday after being referred to it by Swedish friends as the best place to stay in Gotland. It exceeded all my expectations - wonderful location, just the most incredible decor and ambience. The entire hotel is like an artwork, carefully put together and so beautiful. We even had a welcome surpise for my wife's birthday which made her day - honestly, this place should be on your bucket list to stay when in Sweden

Good breakfast. Lots of fresh fruit, plus meats, cheeses and breads. It's a charming and historic hotel with good location. Very communicative owner. Instructions for entering our assigned room after hours was clear. Spacious, quiet and nicely appointed with comfortable beds at a reasonable price. Thick bathrobes. Tobias and staff were very personable, informative and accommodating.

Kalk Hotel is boutique hotel located on Strandgatan, in a beautiful building from the 17th century, carefully renovated with a stylish interior and Gotland details.

Great breakfast buffet in a pleasant room. No view from the dining room but that didn’t bother us. We had a view from our room over the street below us and out toward the waterfront and access to a very small outdoor terrace which was very pleasant in the early evening. The location of the hotel, right inside the city wall, keeps you out of the tourist crowds in other parts of town.
