Lodgings in Tolmin

The location, good breakfast, the room was very clean, everything was great. But above all, the staff was so great and helpful, especially Uros who made so much effort in helping me by using public transport to get to Trieste Airport - much appreciated.

Convenient location near the bus depot and several shops and restaurants; perfect for getting there and stocking up before hiking trips. Beds were comfortable, and there was a nice lounge and kitchen area.

Perfect location in the middle of the city.

I liked that you get best of both worlds for a hostel experience. The bedrooms offer some privacy, especially with the curtains drawn. The AC makes it feel comfortable and fresh even when it’s a heatwave outside. But then you also have a nice kitchen area where you bump into other people so you can have coffee, food and conversation together. The host was really nice and both hands-off and helpful! She shows you everything, the washing machine, bathrooms and helps you pick a bed and then wants to you feel like you are at home and just use it like it’s yours. And whenever you need something, you can call her up and she will at least try to help you. For me that was a very nice experience, meaning I felt like at home but also not like I was just left on my own to figure it out.

Very good for hikers. A lot of space for equipment and have everything for prepare breakfast and dinner. Near several markets.

Location is great you have everything in walking distance. Inside is new and clean with modern bathroom, kitchen is equipd enough to make meals yourself which is great. Bed is also comfortable. Parking is free and spacius. Would recommend staying here is you are coming to Tolmin.

Marijam was such a lovely host She let us check in early we had two bikes she helped us store and gave us tips of where to go to see the town highlights and the perfect place to eat. Thank you sooo much for making us feel like home And oh, the unit is super clean and has EVERYTHING YOU NEED. Will definitely stay here again

Affordable, well located, and fantastic to have a washer and kitchen. Also very kind that the host left eggs and bread.

Louise and Roger are incredibly helpful and welcoming, ready to accomodate times and needs. We only stayed for a short time but it was really exceptional.

This a beautiful apartment with a thoughtful host. Our group had a wonderful time, and really appreciated the large living room for resting and socializing after our daily adventures. The large covered porch was also a perfect place to hang out on the one rainy day.

The place was very nice and the host was great.

We loved the landscape and the warming people in Čadgr. Kids really enjoyed learning to milk the cows, picking the eggs first thing in the morning, and playing with the family kids.

Such a wonderful space! The skylight views and clean, inviting, well curated spaces. Would love to return!

Hotel.is absolutelly beuty by the lake, building materials, decor, amazing staff... everything was TOP

The rooms were clean and neat. The food here was typical Slovenian food and was cooked by some older Slovenian ladies in the back. Although I believe the hosts brother was involved. This is a family run establishment and I can't say anything bad about it because the host helped me in getting my laundry done (after hiking Triglav) and he also gave me the recipe for the Slukte Struklje ( the ones that my Starimama made when I was a child). This place is quiet, close to Soca or Idrija to go hang out for the day. I would gladly come back to this place anytime!

Wonderful staff and beautiful location.

The hillside alpine location was quiet, had access to hiking trails, and had views of the mountains and valleys.

The breakfast view, and that everything was new. There's even an EV charger in the parking lot.

The view over the valley, the cabin with air conditioning, the 2 sun loungers under the walnut tree, the table and chairs overlooking the beautiful view of the valley and the undercover table and chairs if you need shelter from the sun or rain. We stayed 3 nights and took all the food we'd need so we didn't need to drive back and forth whilst there. We managed to fit everything into the kitchen and small fridge and managed well with the one pan hob. There's a great sandwich toaster and a kettle. We walked to and from Tolmin Gorges, which was exhausting in the heat but worth it. We loved everything about our stay. The owner and Nelly, his friendly dog, were lovely.
