PhilippinesHotel euphemia was excellent - room was spacious, clean, it had a couch and three small tables, bed was soft, two pillows per person with a good comforter, and it's toilet and bath was spacious and clean. WiFi was fast enough for mobile gaming. It also provided toiletries, snacks, and drinks for free (+ alcoholic welcome drinks from the bar). The TV had streaming and local cable so we enjoyed since we got to watch their sports channels. Their staff is friendly and the location is close to the night market but far enough that it is quiet and peaceful. You can take a quick walk to mcdonald's or 7-11 if you want a fast meal. It is also close enough to the HSR station so the uber was cheap and the bus ride was short.
Highly recommend this hotel if you're staying in taichung.

Front desk staff were very helpful. I was able to extend my trip with no issues. It was clean and housekeeping kept my room clean. Location was great and near a famous night market in Taichung. Good value. It was 20min taxi ride from city center.

The hotel is in a convenient location, with a 7-Eleven and the night market just a short walk away. The room is spacious, with wooden flooring, plenty of power outlets (even universal power socket) which was very convenient for charging my devices. The bathroom is also quite large, but it would be more convenient if there were a shelf or rack inside the shower area for toiletries.
