Lodgings in Shitan

The minsu was not far from Dahu and the main hiking area. It was clean. Beds were comfy. My wife was pleased with the linens and towels. My dog enjoyed sleeping under the desk in the room. The hosts were friendly and accomodating.

The staff at the Villa was very friendly and provided lots of information for us in terms of places to visit and recommended many dining areas for us. The place is very pretty and we had a wonderful stay - just 1 night in the mountain. Parking was easy as the area is located not far from our accomodation. Generally a very positive experience.

Public space and restroom are big. Room is clean.

Very accommodating and friendly staff. 美玲 (Myling) speaks both English and Chinese and is great to converse with. It was my daughter’s birthday and while not expecting much to anything, she had brought her 2 gorgeous necklaces! Very thoughtful and kind! The food is made by the staff and is extremely fresh and flavorful. Some of the veggies are picked right from their garden! Food is served 3 steps from your door, and you have an amazing view to look out on while eating. While we did not use the pool facilities, it was very pretty and had amazing views as well. There are lights at night to show the path to both the pool and an area for bbq. There are also bathrooms right next to the pool which is very helpful. Beautiful garden containing flowers, trees and a stream which gives the entire area a homey and fresh feeling.

The property is beautiful and surrounded by the forest, which makes for an amazing view! Super close to the river, various hikes, and waterfalls. The staff were super friendly and made delicious food for breakfast and dinner. Absolutely love the property and would recommend staying here!

Original architecture, enjoyable space. Excellent breakfast, including for vegetarians. Nice spa experience.

Nice set up. Good view with nice facilities.

The large spacious rooms were great! The baths were in a separate room. Very nice! Overall, this place is one of top 5 "gems" I've found in Taiwan for lodging. (I've stayed at over 70 different lodging places in Taiwan.) It has a beautiful unique surrounding and peaceful atmosphere. The "honeymoon" suites are the way to go!

Great spa and lovely location in the mountains. Huge rooms with spa baths. Lovely staff.

Love the vibes of the place! Definitely like pictures, peaceful and quiet. Cute cats running around

Lily was an amazing host. She helped me figure out how to do laundry at her property, and invited me for a homecooked meal! We had a great discussion, and she helped me improve my Mandarin a bit. The property is absolutely stunning and a joy to explore, and the room was excellent. Thanks for a great stay!

Location is central, is literally 39 mins away from any attraction around Miaoli in every direction. The place is in the mountains making it very private but easy to access can I rate them 1 thousand stars out of 10?

Beautiful courtyard with fish pond. Very friendly family. Dehumidifier in room helped in the humid climate.

Owner was very friendly even get us to train station after our bike event 😊
