The facilities are immaculate and the tasting room, coupled with the spa, make for a really great experience. They made us a reservation at the restaurant just on the corner when we asked. They were incredibly accommodating and the beds were super comfortable.

Perfect location in the very center of central Basel, right on the Marktplatz. This is now my go-to hotel for whenever business or leisure travel takes me through this part of the world. Fabulously friendly and attentive staff, a super cafe (popular with locals as well as guests: you're going to need to book if you want to have Sunday brunch there...), and very comfy beds with the most comfortable pillows I've ever slept on in a Swiss or German hotel. HIGHLY recommended and worth the price.

I arrived in Basel and had to board a tram to bring me closer to the hostel. A short walk down a city street brought me to the Silo Hostel and I was pleasantly surprised with the accommodation! The hostel had a strong but modern industrial motif and was very clean and uncluttered. Staff was wonderful but self check-in is also straightforward. The facilities were lovely - four twin cubicles in my female-only room and the down duvet & pillow were a real treat! Bath and toilet facilities were across the hall and were also clean and modern. There was a tasty and filling breakfast served in the morning. An alternate lounge was also available later into the evening. I would recommend the hostel without hesitation!

Excellent stay at the Parkside Apartments. The location is right in the center of Herbolzheim, next to the city hall (Rathaus). Well equipped (kitchenette, dish washer, washing machine) and very clean. We stayed in an attic appartment which was spacious and well designed. Temperature was quite ok in mid June. Not sure how it is in hot summer days. There were two fans in the rooms already available. They also offered a self check-in and we needed this since we arrived at 23:30. You need 15 minutes by foot to the train station and then with the bus/train+bus, it takes under 30 minutes to get to Europa Park. Highly recommended!

I liked the way how staff was friendly with us, their friendly communication and organisation. Room was perfect designed and one is feeling like home. Little bar with coffee and tea on the floor was perfect (available 24/7). The shampoo and all the supplies were perfect, and towls were perfect. Hotel has so much details that are peronalizes and love this. Food was great. There are lovely plants and all are alive (not plastic). Bed was really comfortable and linnes perfect.
