From
United StatesBeautiful, grand old hotel in the heart of Mont-Dore, perfectly located for walking around downtown. The breakfast was outstanding—eggs, pastries, hot oats, and more (French eggs really are superior!). Our room was lovely, with a full bed and a twin, ideal since I tend to twitch at night. Just note there’s no lift/elevator, which may matter for some travelers.

GermanyThe room is beutifull and offers everything you need. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect: a lovely bakery with excellent food is nearby, and there are plenty of places to grab a drink or shop. Despite this, it's quiet, and the area is ideal for pleasant walks. Parking is available right in front of the hotel. Highly recommended!

Satisfactory. Unfortunately when we arrived the sofa bed wasn't ready and we had to make it. It was really late when we arrived and this was annoying as it was avoidable seen as we had booked for 2 adults and a child.
The apartment is also in a very noisy area of the city especially in the summer if its warm.We didn't sleep as we had to keep the windows open due to the heat and there were cars constantly passing by on the street below.
Overall satisfactory but could be improved upon.

Basic but comfortable, excellent location just off the motorway. We had a very good night's sleep, bedding was spotless. Shower had good flow and temperature controlled well.
Very good breakfast with warm, fresh croissants, good choice of pastries, bread, cheese, cold meats, excellent coffee and hot chocolate, served in the reception area, we had ours at 7am so we're able to be back on the motorway by 7:45. We will stay again.

Quick check-in via upfront received code. Free parking space in front of the hotel. Good location for visiting Montlucon either by car or by bike (little bit too far for a walk). Clean room. Decent self-service breakfast for this price. Friendly reception folks.
Ideal for a short stay.

Nicholas and his family made me feel very welcome. They contacted and reserved a table for dinner at a nearby bistro because the hotel kitchen and bar were closed. Nothing was too much trouble, engaging, kind and friendly hosts. Excellent buffet breakfast. Secure parking.

Nothing.
The first apartment was dirty ,with muddy footprints on the floor and animal hair on the sofa and tables. An unmade bed without sheets and without the cot we had requested.
We were moved to another flat and this one had dirty walls, dead mosquitoes, the kitchen was very worn, the sofa had stains and in general everything was very old.

Quiet location , but close to centre. Good thick curtains to ensure dark room to sleep. Basic but everything satisfactory for price. Air-con not too powerful , but coped with hottest day of year so far . Breakfast reasonable price & sufficient.

The hotel is nicely located, near the main road but it's a quiet place. You need a few minutes to get there from the main road. The personnel is very friendly and helpful, the contact with them is very good - even if you come quite late (as I did). There is a small restaurant / pub which is pretty nice.
