The property is located few minutes walk to the ruins and 3 minutes walk to a big lake, where you can have a leisurely walk and enjoy a beautiful view. You can also hire a bicycle at the property for 800 LKR. Kalum, the property owner, does great elephant safaris. His safaris are better than organized tours, cause he doesn't follow 10 other jeeps. He will take you different route, where you get to see more elephants without disturbing them and from really close up. I had a jeep to myself and i absolutely loved it! Would highly recommend this safari. You can also buy precious stones from Kalum, as his family runs a mine and have been in a business for many years. Kalum is very knowledgeable about many things and will look after you. The property has very good WIFI.
