Nice property but no view of the Kilimanjaro from my tent! Staff was extremely nice and helpful. A lot of people . Do not miss the massage! The lodge is just outside the gate for Amboseli .

The views are incredible, the location – superb. Food is good, pool is good, staff are great, the bonfire evenings are amazing. Having morning coffee atop the viewtower overlooking the giraffes and elephants in the savannah in front of Mt. Kilimanjaro or sipping a 🍺 on that same viewtower in the bright red sunset... magical

Tawi Lodge is a strikingly beautiful spot. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Lots to do - game drives and activities with knowledgeable guides arranged around your desires and schedule. Also Tawi is a relaxing location to sit and watch the wildlife who come by (there is an electric fence) including monkeys, impalas, giraffes and occasionally elephants using the mud hole. Food is absolutely exceptional. Each meal is unique, crafted by the in-house chef using ingredients grown in their greenhouse. The manager, Gladys, is a true delight. She cares about her guests and works hard to manage everyone's requests, always with a smile and a friendly positive attitude. Tawi is not inexpensive but includes all food (including wine!) and many activities (game drive are extra). So the cost ends up being reasonable.

Kilima was just an awesome place. Easy to access, clean facilities. The food was out of this world. The staff are very friendly and accessible plus very helpful. The presence of all the chefs during meal times gave us the assurance that we were eating fresh food.
