Old Ningwood Railway Station is a gem! Amanda is the perfect host, nothing was too much trouble and I hope to return next year.

St Georges House is situated 8 minutes’ walk from Shanklin town centre and the rail station. From the property, it is a 5 minutes' walk to the cliff-top pathway, which leads down to the beach. Free parking is available on site and complimentary Wi-Fi is provided in public areas. The location is excellent. We were just a short walk from the old village, a lovely beach, Shanklin Chine, quaint shops, several restaurants and nice pubs. Bus and train routes are close by. The hosts were very attentive, friendly and helpful. We were very impressed with the breakfast - there were lots of options, it was high quality and excellent value for money. The breakfast room itself is a great setting - nice and bright, with some easy listening music to start the day. Our room was clean and comfortable, with lots of nice touches such as fresh flowers, biscuits and little chocolates. There is a communal area with a bar. Convenient location for the village and the chine, and the road was quiet.
