Nirwana Resort Hotel is just under an hour’s ferry ride from Singapore’s Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal to Bandar Bentan Telani Ferry Terminal. A speedboat from Batam’s Punggur Ferry Terminal to Tanjunguban takes 15 minutes only.The hotel provides free transfers from and to Bandar Bintan Telani Ferry Terminal. The property is beautiful, very well taken care of. We especially loved the big pool, and the picturesque beach with many hammocks and spots to rest. The service is great and super-friendly. We also recommend paying a visit to Kelong restaurant - excellent food and views. In the forest we could spot many animals, even wild monkeys.

Free Wi-Fi and free parking are provided. It was exceptional, a beautiful well-appointed villa in a gorgeous location. The villa was really spacious with three indoor & one outdoor bathrooms. It was extremely clean and plenty of towels were provided. The infinity pool afforded a great view over the bay and there were plenty of seating options provided. The villas sit within the wider Norway’s Gardens resort, which is actually made up of five separate properties, so we could choose to eat at any of the resort’s restaurants. The food was good, mainly what you’d expect at a resort (buffet breakfast, sandwiches & salads for lunch) but there were plenty of Indonesian options and the Spice restaurant (Indian) was delicious. We loved the over-water bar & its cocktail selection & friendly bartender. A golf buggy is provided for the villa which was really handy (it would be a lot of walking if you didn’t have it) and which my late-teenage boys loved. There was a huge range of activities if you wanted to be active - we jet-skied, played ten pin bowling, did archery and target shooting, released baby endangered Hawksbill turtles. The resort is set in lush jungle and gardens and we enjoyed views of the wildlife (monkeys, bats, squirrels & butterflies). The villas exceeded our expectations and we will definitely stay here again.
