A lot of options on your breakfast. Every staffs I met during the stay were absolutely friendly and helpful. Fast response whenever i sent the messages which i am super appreciate. The Spa better needs to reserved in advanced (the maximum capacity is 8 guests in an hour).

The location is perfect for exploring Matera, and the valet service made everything effortless. We left our car at their partner parking and were picked up directly, which made the whole arrival experience smooth and stress-free. Even though the hotel is relatively new, it feels like it has been welcoming guests for many years. That is a true credit to the management and the entire team, who were warm, professional, and made us feel so well looked after. The food was outstanding, the cocktails were delicious, and the whole atmosphere was romantic and unforgettable. Relais & Châteaux should be very proud to have Vetera Matera in their collection. We are already looking forward to coming back and cannot recommend it highly enough.

Fantastic and very unique hotel. Right in the heart and yet very peaceful. The room was quite big and had all the amenities. The unique old-style swimming pool is the best we have seen in a hotel. Breakfast was great, unique, and filling. All the complimentary experiences were designed with a lot of thought and detail.

Really clean, everything is new, very comfortable beds and sofa, apartment had everything we need. WiFi was fast, and we really enjoyed our time there. Free parking is in front of the apartment. Neighborhood is very nice and quiet, pizza and sweets are 2min away. It’s in the second floor. To Sassi if you walk, you need 15-20min.
