Hotel Hankyu International er staðsett í Osaka og er í innan við 400 metra fjarlægð frá kaþólsku Umeda-kirkjunni. Effective and friendly check in and check out processes, helpful staff. The room is very clean, good quality amenities were provided, which are not provided anymore in most European five star hotels. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom is spacious. We are a bit ambiguous about the location: at one hand, it is very convenient for finding many restaurants nearby and for taking train or subways, on the other hand the many trains do make some noises also during later evening and early morning. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there very much.

Odysis Suites Osaka Airport Hotel er staðsett í Izumi-Sano, 400 metra frá Rinku Pleasure Town Seacle-verslunarmiðstöðinni og býður upp á útsýni yfir borgina. The room was huge and the bed was amazing. After spending a few days in Japan and sleeping on weird pillows that seemed to be filled with rice, this bed and pillow felt like heaven to me. The shuttle to the airport is a nice plus. The hotel had it’s own convenience store.

Gion Elite Terrace er staðsett í Kyoto, í innan við 1 km fjarlægð frá Gion Shijo-stöðinni og býður upp á gistirými með sameiginlegri setustofu, einkabílastæði, verönd og veitingastað. We loved our stay at Gion Elite Terrace. It's perfectly located within walking distance from the train station, restaurants, bars and many of the sites we wanted to visit in Kyoto. It's located on a quite and quaint street. The rooms were spacious, clean and the beds were very comfortable. We loved the coffee bar in the lobby. The staff helped us with restaurant recommendations and reservations. I also love that they are an eco-friendly hotel. I will recommend this hotel to all of our friends planning to visit Kyoto.

THE GENERAL KYOTO Bukkouji Shinmachi er staðsett á hrífandi stað í Kyoto og býður upp á loftkæld herbergi, sameiginlega setustofu og ókeypis WiFi. We stayed at both General Kyoto properties (they're a 5 minute walk from each other). Great location in a quiet but central street, with easy access to public transport. The hotel is extremely generous—spacious rooms with plenty of free toiletries, tea and snacks, music speaker etc. The lounge has a 'happy hour' with complimentary wine, matcha, coffee and Japanese sweets / rice cakes. There is also a coin-operated washing machine and dryer, which are very handy. The staff were very helpful with restaurant reservations, baggage forwarding services etc. We couldn't be happier with General Kyoto, and recommend it very highly.
