This was the best hotel of the trip. We stayed in about 5 and this one took the cake. The views were spectacular, the breakfast had a wider variety and was delicious, the staff were incredibly helpful and kind and the scenery was so peaceful. It was a true vacation. The room was clean and they provided many free services as well. Hands down the best hotel I’ve been to so far. I will be returning again soon and will recommend this hotel to everyone I know who is travelling to Japan.

Rooms are fitted with chic furnishings and large windows, which offer plenty of sunlight and great lake views. A flat-screen TV and a fridge are provided in the room. The en suite bathroom includes free toiletries. The quietness of the hotel. The tea time and cocktail time were great.

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. It features traditional Japanese cuisine served in the dining area, suites with in-room hot springs and a garden. Beautiful hotel, with private and quiet rooms that were spacious and well kept. Close to the red bus stop 4, Ohashi Bridge and restaurants/supermarket. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. They organised a taxi for us to get out to Chuerita Pagoda at the crack of dawn. The private onsen and breakfast were the highlights of our stay.
