The Golden Crown Hotel is a 5-star hotel located in Ampitya, Kandy, Srilanka. It was an amazing property, and the view from our balcony as well as from the pool was spectacular. We truly enjoyed the scenery, the kindness of the staff, and both breakfast and dinner were excellent.

The hotel was very clean, and the staff was kind and helpful. They were always ready to assist with anything I needed. The breakfast had a good variety of food, and everything was fresh and tasty. I especially liked the hot coffee and fresh fruits. The location was perfect because it was close to many shops, restaurants, and public transport. It was easy to explore the city from there.

Everything about the property was exceptional. Extremely beautifully built and maintained, loved the theme around sustainability. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Kandy . The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent! Would love to visit again sometime soon. Pictures don’t do justice to how beautiful this property is.

Kushana and his family host a really nice homestay. The place is beautiful, breakfast is awesome, but most of all the family is very open and welcoming. They love sharing interesting information about Kandy and Sri Lanka, and can help you with all your needs. Oh, and their dog is the cutest!

Absolutely beautiful property about 45 mins away from Kandy. Serene setting and fantastic interior design. Incredible breakfast spread. Stunning pool. Could see the stars at night. Pleasantly cool weather in the evenings and morning. Possibly the best property we stayed during our 10 days in Sri Lanka. We wish we’d stayed for more than 1 night.
