Great location with a view of the lake, but it is tricky to find as it’s in a side alley. It’s an old building, so no lifts, and no air conditioning. There’s no staff/reception desk, so you need to pre-register and then connect to an intercom on arrival for the door to be opened. There is a large carpark in the next street, but it’s only free between 10pm and 7am, so you have to be up early to get a ticket, as there are parking inspectors.

What we liked most, without a doubt, the views of the lake. It is close to the train station and easy to pre-register and not waste time at the reception

The location is terrific! Several restaurants and bars within walking distance. The metro is an easy walk and will take you to the train station (one stop) or down to the Lake (stunning). Our room was clean and quiet. Staff could have been friendlier/more helpful especially since I have Marriott status - but it wasn't a big deal and didn't impact our trip or stay. The free/included breakfast was generous.

Fantastic family hotel that is located close to a metro station. Nice breakfast and very helpful staff contributed to an amazing stay in Lausanne.

Very simple and well automated registration and check-in (late arrivals possible), good communication via WhatsApp if needed, clean room and nicely equipped and nice bathroom (overall very suitable for travelers in transit). Minimalist breakfast in room available in package, including tea and coffee. There is a nice beach access within 10min drive to the lake. Free parking in front of the hotel. Pet friendly!
