The room was modern and minimalist in design, spacious and bright. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, with high-quality linens that ensured a restful sleep after a long day of exploring. Also, featured a range of amenities, including free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, a mini-fridge, and a coffee maker, all of which contributed to a very comfortable.
This hotel is in a super good location, right in the middle of the Ximending shopping streets and is surrounded by shops and eateries. It is a five-minute walk to the subway. The receptionists were friendly and helpful, my room was sizeable. This was one of the few hotels I found that had king-sized beds. The beds also had the smoothest bedsheets, which give a touch of luxury. I also appreciate the free filtered drinking water from a dispenser in the pantry.
This was our inaugural visit to Taipei, and the accommodation truly elevated our trip to unforgettable heights. Despite the slightly distant proximity from the malls and night markets, the hotel proved to be splendid in every aspect. From the impeccable service of the staff to the comfort of the rooms and the delightful culinary offerings, every detail contributed to our memorable experience.
One of the few hotels that had to option to add an extra bed to the room. We had to upgrade to do so.
A very charming old hotel. Loved the atrium between all the floors which made the layout much nicer and less claustrophobic than the endless corridors in new hotels. Some lounge areas on the floors (especially the main one on the 7th) were similarly charming. Our group was in multiple rooms and we were able to socialize in these areas rather than just sitting in another person's room. And that was a really nice accommodation to have!
-Right outside Daan Station Exit 6, it was so close i took a while to register how convenient it is - Spacious room with Taipei 101 views, room 1608 was facing 101 straight and it was symmetrically between 2 buildings, awesome! - Clean Bathroom with shower and bathtub - Japanese style bidet in the toilet and hotel lobby toilet. - Super friendly bell boys and staff, always make me feel super welcomed when i go back to the hotel - Numerous food options around, suitable for all occasions and timings
The rooms are fabulous, the beds are so comfy, the breakfast was delicious and it’s a fun, young hotel. The Marriott on the other side of town is more quiet and relaxing, but this is great for younger people or people who are into nightlife and a fun weekend in the heart of Taipei!
Friendly people, good situation not far from Zhongshan nightmarket also MRT station. Breakfast buffet was excellent with Chinese also Western food. I can say: Next time Taipei, next time Aloft!
