It was cheap! Bare basics but clean and comfortable for a solo traveler. Peets Coffee in the same parking lot is a huge plus in the morning.

To provide white noise while simultaneously heating the room, I took off the face cover of the AC unit and toggled the switch to Constant Fan (the switch is located just below the control panel). This should probably be the default for all rooms.

    This is not the first time that I stay in this place, I really like it, is old but cozy, very clean and very comfortable, the location in Alameda is great, and this time they give us a room that had a living room, was like a little apartment. I'm very satisfied every time with this place. The fact that makes me choose this motel too, is that this is one of the only motels around in it's price range that have kitchen, for me this is determinat cos I prefer to cook my own food.

    The staff was friendly and helpful, the location was great. The beach 5 min walk (if that) from motel. The price was great though a little dated on the decor it was a decent size. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will coming back soon!
