We absolutely loved the nature, the onsen, the 100-year-old room with a heated floor, the food, the staff. A wonderful experience!

Matatagpuan ang BUNA KUSATSU Onsen Inn sa Kusatsu, 47 km mula sa Jigokudani Monkey Park at 15 km mula sa Mt. Kusatsu Shirane. The room was bright and clean, and the private onsen was amazing. There is a kitchen and a shared space where you can experience a traditional Japanese kotatsu. Everything was great except that the property is located on a hill, so you have to climb to reach nearby places. The road was very slippery on snowy days, and we almost slipped several times. I would not recommend this place for travelers with elderly people or young children.

First of all the service was incredible, Mikki was the warmest host always making you feel like home, she even spoke a few words in Spanish making me feel extra welcome. The room was very big and incredibly clean a cozy. We added dinner on the first night and every dish was delicious!!!!! The onsen was also lovely and had the luck of being alone every time I went to take a dip. I’m looking forward to be back, our stay made our trip to Kusatsu a dreamy experience 💗

Food was delicious, the rooms very nice and clean and there were several hot spring baths so it didn’t feel crowded at all. Would definitely stay there again.

The rooms are very beautiful, clean and well prepared. One of best stay in Kusatsu. The breakfast is a homemade dish that is prepared carefully and beautifully. We are having a great time staying in Soumeian.
