Onyado Shikishima-kan se găsește în Kotohira, la aproximativ 32 km de Kitahamaebisu Shrine și la 40 km de Liminal Air-core Takamatsu. The inn was so beautiful and many wonderful qualities. It's location is in the middle of a lively street full of shops and restaurants and a close (though uphill) walk to a temple. The in-room amenities were wonderful: whole coffee beans, a grinder, a coffee pot and cups, a separate teapot and teacups, pajamas, robes, and any necessary toiletries. The provided breakfast and dinner was delicious, traditional Japanese fare with English menus to explain the nightly courses (though I'd still suggest having a translator app). Last, but certainly not least: the baths were incredible. I appreciate that the private baths did not need a reservation and were all themed differently. So relaxing!! All my worries melted away here.

Set in Takamatsu, 12 km from Sunport Takamatsu, THE CHELSEA BREATH offers accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking, a shared lounge and a garden. A wonderful amazing hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The setting is overwhelming! Why only 3 stars, the hotel deserves 5.

Located in Kasuga, 26 km from Takamatsu, Asan Kotonami features a terrace and views of the mountain. The ryokan has a hot spring bath and sauna, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. This is a superb hotel/onsen. Beautiful location, great food, lovely hot baths.

A 15-minute walk from JR Kotohira Station, Kotohira Kadan offers natural hot spring baths and spacious Japanese-style rooms, some with a private outdoor hot spring bath. The onsen was a great addition to the overall stay, especially the outdoor one. The room was very spacious for two people and we had a perfect view. The staff also went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable stay and treated us with a drink and a printed photo of us from our dinner as a honeymoon gift!

Amazing view onsen, world-class “omotenashi” service, spectacular food (morning & dinner buffet is amazing-strongly recommend half-boarding options since there’s really no good restaurants around and cheaper to book it online than adding it at the hotel), free drink (coffee & tea)and free shuttle bus service from every port (reservation needed by a day before)
