A 15-minute walk from JR Kotohira Station, Kotohira Kadan offers natural hot spring baths and spacious Japanese-style rooms, some with a private outdoor hot spring bath. Spacious room in a ryokan in Kotohira. It is around 5 minutes' walk to the shrine approach with restaurants and shops, with the train stations a little further away. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, the private outdoor onsen was great and the staff are welcoming.

Matatagpuan ang Dormy Inn Takamatsu Chuo Koenmae Natural Hot Spring sa Takamatsu, sa loob ng 4.5 km ng Asahi Green Park at 6.9 km ng Cormorant Shrine. Property is 10 min bus ride and 20 min walking from Takamatsu train station . I have booked several Dormy inn’s across Japan and this one was good just like the other locations. Service was good! Nice hot bath!, hot sauna, cold bath facilities (for the men side at least). Breakfast that I reserved was also very good-this location have self served udon which match the uniqueness of Takamatsu.

Featuring an outdoor pool and natural hot spring baths on the top floor, Bay Resort Hotel Shodoshima is located in Shodoshima Island. All guestrooms offer great ocean views. The staff was super friendly and the hotel facilities was top notch. Really easy to rent a car at the hotel to experience Shodoshima.

A 5-minute walk from JR Kotohira Train Station, Kotosankaku Hiten provides Japanese rooms with traditional futon beds and Konpira Mountain views. Kaiseki dinner was excellent. It would be helpful for some type of translation on what the food is and how to eat in a prepared written form in English. Service was great. Breakfast had quite a good selection. Location is definitely a great plus, only 3-5 minutes on foot from the train station.
