The hotel is literally a 5 minute walk from Kyoto station. Hotel is safe, very well maintained, clean and the staff are very friendly. They were very helpful is guiding me with my planning, in regards to how I should route my interests. There is a 7/11 across the street. A very nice ice cream place right next door and loads of dining options around the hotel as well as loads of options within the station. The rooms are well equipped. Separate shower, bath tub, toilet and sink. The size of the room is pretty good by Japan standards. There is a small couch in there, as well as a desk and chair. They have an onsen as well and a gym. Plus laundry facilities. Would highly recommend this hotel for its location, room, amenities and all.

This is a big hotel that runs like a well oiled machine. The onsen is great, the rooms are decent size (for Japan) and the service is friendly and helpful. Lovely amenities too both at the onsen and in room. No shoes allowed in the hotel which adds to the cleanliness. Socks are supplied as are pajamas which everyone wears so you feel very much like you're part of the hotel community. Lots of free stuff thrown in like late night ramen, ice lollies, washing machines, massage chairs. Breakfast is amazing - huge selection of Japanese breakfast options to choose from and nothing ever runs out. Luggage transport service was also taken care of - my bag was waiting for me when I checked in. Loved this hotel.

LIBER HOTEL Osaka features air-conditioned rooms with satellite flat-screen TV in the Osaka Bay district of Osaka. Staff was great. Rooms clean.

Featuring natural hot spring baths on site, Onyado Nono Nara Natural Hot Spring is set in Nara, just a 3-minute walk from JR Nara Station. The staff was very helpful, the massage chair is just out of this world and the onsen was really nice.

J-Hoppers Kumano Yunomine Guesthouse is situated in Hongu, a 10-minute drive away or a 70-minute walk on the Kumano Kodo Pilgrimage Route from Kumano Hongu Taisha Grand Shrine. Everything was very clean and orderly. Beds were very comfortable and duvets very warm in colder November weather. Lovely common area and a nice shared kitchen with free evening rice and morning porridge. Access to private onsen which was a real treat! This was some of the best value for money I’ve seen - highly impressed! Completely exceeded my expectations.
